doesnt work on our seat well
I have a 2006 Ford Expedition, our middle seat in the second row has a thick, fixed headrest and this mirror does not have the flexibility to work as it is. The "clamp" is not long enough to clamp around the entire fixed headrest AND be able to adjust/tilt to see the baby. The tether feature completely baffles me, it is short, maybe 6" in length? How and where would you even tether that? If it was long enough it would be perfect because I could tether it to the floor behind the seat like my other car seat and that would have actually worked just fine for us. There are just no mirrors that seem to work for our vehicle so I took a shoulder strap off of an old camcorder case, hooked that to the tether on the floor behind the seat and hooked the other end to the tether that came attached to this mirror. And because it's a shoulder strap i was able to adjust it so it was snug. Now i just need to figure out how to keep the mirror from sliding left or right. Maybe some Velcro I don't know. The mirror itself is great, nice and large, it just didn't work out for our thick, fixed head rest. If the tether was much longer it would have really been great.

gives quite a good view of my baby
This wasn't hard to install, gives quite a good view of my baby, and it seems that she can see me as well, which helps to reassure her when she's fussy. I got this to replace a heavier mirror that our local carseat technician, a police officer, was concerned might become a projectile in a crash. This seems much better--it's a lightweight shatterproof mirror that's sewn into a padded fabric pocket that straps securely to the headrest; wire embedded in the strap bends to conform to the seat and helps to position it for viewing. My baby likes looking at herself, and I like being able to check on her from the driver's seat.

We found these very difficult to position correctly in our car, as the instructions for a bench seat with headrest installation assumed a different shape of headrest than we have. We finally got them on so we will be able to see our baby, but I am not convinced that they are very secure or will hold their position well over time.

Cannot be used with attached headrest. I suppose there would be some attached headrests that it would work with, but not the 2010 Jeep Patriot's, which are high and narrow. I gave it to my parents who have an adjustable headrest. At least someone will get use of it.

Fine mirror but does NOT work with fixed headrests
This does not work on a fixed headrest. I only bought it because someone posted that it did, and that's not true. This requires a strap to go under the headrest, just like every other headrest on the market. If you're fine with that, I'm sure it's great. But they need to update that incorrect answer because it does not work if your headrests are fixed. And it would be great if someone could invent a mirror that DOES affix to a fixed headrest, because I think you'd have the market cornered.

it's even better than expected
The mirror is a little bigger than I expected it to be, but, considering I didn't pay too close attention to the dimensions, that's more of a problem with my ability to read things thoroughly than with the product. Other than that, it's even better than expected. Very easy to use and install, and, because it's bigger than I thought it would be, I have a clear view of my baby in the back seat no matter which seat I'm sitting in, which, as a first time mom, is extremely comforting.

Good product
The mirror is good and clear and not cloudy like most. But it does not fit on my headrest right because it is connected to the seat. I just had to safety pin it to the seat!

Back seat "driver"
For the price paid, this works really well. It is a little difficult to adjust and get just right but when you do you never have to worry about it again. I used it in a new 2016 Civic with a fixed headrest and this stayed put no matter how many corners I took. I've since switched to a front-facing car seat but this will come in handy should we ever need rear-facing again.
