Oval-8 Multi-Size Pack of 3 Sizes 4,5,6

These worked out excellent to heal my Mallet Finger condition (2 fingers) and I found them to have several advantages over conventional splints which I also tried. I wore them during the day because the finger tips remained exposed I could type on a keyboard much easier than with other splints. They also allowed for very good air circulation. They could also get wet and were easy to dry so they were no problem getting your hands wet for normal washing. Getting the right size was a bit tricky and first set I bought was too small although I thought I followed the sizing instructions on the manufacture web site. I bought the 3 pack size but found I needed the next bigger size 3 pack. Although they say you can adjust the fit by heating and bending them, this did not work out too well for me so that's why I got the next bigger size. If they are too small it is very uncomfortable and digs into your finger. Ere on he side of getting them bigger - i think you can always use a little tape wrap to tighten them up if necessary. I also used Stax type splints to sleep in just to change the pressure points on my fingers. Used for 6 weeks - fingers healed perfect.Recommend viewing the several youtube postings about them as they gave me a good idea of how they worked.

So I have been wearing these at night for many months due to trigger finger. Stays on my finger all night and prevents my finger from curling. They are comfortable and I don't notice them. When I forget to put on my finger curls. Has not cured my problem but a fix until I go to the doctor. I am glad I purchased these and do recommend for a temporary fix. I did call the company to get a recommendation on which size to purchase. The multiple pack was what they recommended. I am wearing the largest size in the pack.

I love this and it works great. Its pretty comfortable until its been on for some time. It will start to press into your finger and become uncomfortable. I wanna say it was over 12 days before it became a problem. But I highly recommend this splint for most days. Its great when sleeping, getting wet(shower, swimming and so on) and not very noticeable by others. But I suggest a second splint for times when your at home and relaxing to take the pressure off of the main spot. I use a popsicle stick and medical tape to take the pressure off so that I do not wear it 24/7.

I have arthritis in most of my fingers and I have seen others wear these so I thought I would give them a try. I hated it immediately. They are so stiff and so small that they won't even fit on my pinky finger, and it's not a big finger! I won't be using these

OMG! This splint is great. Its open design allows you almost full use of your injured finger. Allows you to wash your hands and not worry about getting your splinted finger wet. My finger was originally splinted at the doctors office the somewhat traditional method of a foam metal splint and tape. Bulky and you have to keep the area from getting wet. For mallet finger you need to keep the finer splinted 24/7 about 6 weeks at a minimum. Ugh...it was going to be a long six weeks. Found this splint online and after research, it looked far superior. Got the Oval 8 splint today and what a difference!!!! I can use my right hand again without almost any restrictions. Six weeks in this splint will be easy peasy, lemon squeezy!!Sizing is the key. Go to their website and download the paper sizing guide. My injury is on my right hand, so I measured my left. The guide put me at a size 6, so I could have ordered the pack with the size 6 - 8, or 4 - 6. I opted for the 4 - 6. 5 actually fit the best on my left hand, but the 6 fit perfectly on my right finger which is slightly swollen. I figure once the swelling goes down, I will probably switch to the 5.Fabulous product!!!

Future shoppers beware. The size chart is no good.Using the fit chart, I measure 2-1/16, twice, around my affect finger knuckle (mallet finger). Ordered the correct kit (4,5,6), and the largest splint in the kit ( size 6)was very tight. It strangled my finger and I had to remove it because my finger was getting cold, cutting circulation off.Since this was the largest size in the kit and I should have required the size 5, it means I had to order another kit of 6,7,8 . 7 was a good fit. But it cost a small fortune to get the right piece of plastic.

I used this product for my trigger finger. It worked well and I was very satisfied with it. Would recommend to others.

I’ve been using these for my mallet finger and they’ve been amazing!! Used the sizing chart and got the right size on the first try. I’m a nurse and have to wear gloves at work, with the big bulky braces I started with I couldn’t even get a glove over them but the Oval-8 is so small I can easily get gloves on and off without worrying about pulling off the brace. I can easily type and most people don’t even notice it!**only negative - for mallet finger technically the fingertip needs to be extended slightly more than this brace does, but I can live with that.
