(10 Pack) Reusable Revolution Solar Outdoor LED Stair Lights (Stainless Steel)

My original post stated that some of the lights did not work even after sitting in the sun for a few days so I was bummed but the ones that did work are wonderful and many visitors have complimented on how much they like the lights! Since posting the bummed post the company that manufactures them sent me a courtesy email and is resenting the lights that did not work within 24 hours!!! All I can say is that was totally unexpected and that type of service gets a five star rating! Granted some lights did not work but the company is making good on the purchase!!! Again, WOW! Rarely find this type of service.Regarding the lights, we use them on each of our deck steps and they do a good job of lighting the steps to prevent trips and falls.Hats off to this company and thank you for listening!

Why does something that looks so nice turn out to be not worth the money? They worked great for a week but then started to stop working one by one every week. I have 6 out the 10 still working but that's this week. I'm thinking about turning them into electric myself because they look great and do a nice job when working. I guess it's what I get for ordering something like this online. Thanks

I got these as a gift for my parents. They worked great for the first month. Now they barely light up. It's too late for me to return the product, they only gave me 30 days. So now I'm stuck with a product that doesn't work.

Ok I know that these are not the orig HOSL brand.I am ok with that.Out of 20 only one had a minor issue with the battery being loose. (easy fix for me but maybe not everyone.)Comes with only the light and basic mounting hardware.No instructions or tips.Beware you must push the button on the back to activate them and if you are in a bright location the light will not come on.So I would take them into a bathroom or somewhere where it is dark to test.press the button and then tap and shake the unit some what vigorously to make sure that it is working ok.I have noticed that some units will dim and some will completely turn off.Just remove the 4 screws on the back and remove the back metal cover then the white plastic cover.You will see a green AAA NimH battery. You might need to take it out and carefully spring out the contacts in thebattery holder. Please note the direction you removed it from.Then replace the battery and put the unit back together and test again.That should do the trick.Also the unit comes with out a template.What I did was to use one side of the box it came in to fashion a template.Also I would put a long screw above the light after you have installed it to keep casual thief's from just lifting it off and walking away with it.With that being said I am pretty impressed with the unit so far.With just the factory charge they ran for 6 hrs.Can't wait until they get a full days charge and see how they look and how long they run.Not a bad deal for $4.60 each.

After approximately three weeks of being outside and very little, if any, rain, 5 of the 20 lights are not working properly. All have developed light rust spots. I do want to like these lights. They look good, minus the rust, and they work well, minus the ones that don't. I have yet to try and return the lights that aren't working but will update after. I would pay twice as much if they were sealed (maybe they are but I doubt it) and made from higher quality stainless steel.

I love these lights. They look very sleek and modern and do exactly what they are supposed to do (just enough light to guide you). For the install I simply cut out one side of the box they came in and made a template of the back of the light, that way I knew right where to put the screw holes. I put them around my fascia on my deck for accent lighting and then on the stairs of the deck to help you on those dark "bon-fire" nights. And for $36 for 10 of them...get out of here, GREAT DEAL!!

These lights are not "outdoor ready." Only two weeks in and 5 out of the 10 no longer work, almost all screws have rust and some have condensation inside. They are not sealed or treated at all for outdoor use. They put off decent light when they do work but double the light would be a lot better.Skip this and buy something better. You get what you pay for and this deal really is to good to be true.(another reviewer mentioned these are knock offs of a different brand and I believe that to be true by the quality.)

Terrible quality...try something else. 5 units DOA.
