This switch is great, easy to install and allows us to manually open the gate when someone comes over or if we need to get the mail. Overall pleased with the device.

The button itself is great. Easy to install. Easy for family to access and it works well. We do have a concern. On the back were the connector is at, it purturds out so it does not sit flush on the wall. We had to make a box around the button to protect it from the element and water. But it's a nice big button that will help us open the gate without a remote.

I wish that I had ordered this push button at the same time I bought the opener. The installatiin is a cake walk, and comes in handy when I am walking around the yard doing yardwork.

Great switch and it really works good on my electric gates

This gate is meant to be installed outside. The switch must be installed inside because it is not at all weatherproof, so that makes no sense. It is a momentary switch that only needs to be rated for 5vdc. You can buy any number of water proof, lighted, much higher rated momentary switches on amazon or at any local hardware store for a third of the price. Also it's a wired switched and it doesn't even come with wire!

It's been installed for a couple months now and although it works fine (simple switch)... it's already starting to yellow. Installed in a weather box that only sees morning sun... pretty yellow already... not attractive.
