Two Meows Litter Mat/Extra Large/Green

Two Meows gets extra points for making a mat that is made of rubber, rather than a compilation of cancer causing toxic ingredients. I bought a Two Meows mat, and felt that it worked sufficiently, and decided to order another one. What I failed to take into account was that we had just adopted a starving feral cat, and she was very nervous and not eating. My other two cats were not happy about a newcomer, and they were not eating. So, no one was using the litter box as they normally do. Consequently, there was not much litter around. Now that everyone is well acquainted, and getting along they are definitely using the litter box, and unfortunately there is lots of litter around, even in the living room. While these are well made mats, they are too small, and do not contain the litter. These mats definitely need to be larger. As I sit here typing and looking across the living room floors, which are hardwood, the sun is shinning in, and all I see is cat litter. Also, what's up with the price reduction? I paid $25 each for my two mats, and now I see that they are selling for $18. Very disappointed with these mats. Time to go vacuum!

This mat is pretty awesome. It seems to cut back on the amount of litter being tracked away from the litter box, which, since we are moving to a house with hardwood floors instead of carpet, is going to be very important. I don't mind stepping on the mats when it's time to scoop the poop. They are squishy and feel nice on my feet, but my husband feels like they stick to the bottoms of his, so I guess you'll have to try them yourself and see. The mat is a great size and is less expensive than some other mats of similar design, so I'll be getting a few more for the new house. When you have 5 litter boxes, it's important to find something that works or you'll be finding litter all over your house!

Works as good as can be expected, litter still gets on the floor.

Yes, they are very big but definitely work to keep the litter from spreading all over the bathroom floor. I had to fold mine in half just because I have a pretty small space and didnt really measure but I noticed a big difference when using it.

This mat works great in front of my booda dome. My cat always gets the litter out even with his closed in box. This mat catches it all. His box is in my bedroom and I used to get his litter tracked into my bed and the thought of all those germs was repulsive. After getting this mat though I don't have that problem. I'm able to vacuum the litter out of it easily too. I recommend vacuuming it whenever you change out your litter. When I let it go and the litter built up it didn't work as designed and the litter ended up back in my bed so don't be lazy like me and clean the mat.

After many failed attempts to find a litter mat that our cats don't take issue with, tear up, pee on or pull out of the room, OR that doesn't actually contain the litter it purports to control, the gods have smiled on us - the Two Meows Extra Large 36x24 Litter Mat is a winner. Large enough to sit under two litter boxes  Nature's Miracle Disposable Litter Box, Jumbo, 2-Pack , this is the best thing that has happened to us since I found  Nature's Miracle Just for Cats Easy Care Crystal Litter, 8-Pound (P-5370) . It will never be FUN to scoop litter, but the three of these products have at least made it less of a chore. Thank you, Two Meows!

The cats chewed up this mat in about 5 weeks. I don't know why they chewed it up. It didn't last

I didn't receive a discount nor a free product for my review.. I paid for the mat. I LOVE it. It keeps most of the litter in the mat and not all over my floor.. You can definitely tell and see a difference from other litter catching mats. This is the best.. I would like a bigger mat. I run my vacuum daily and sometimes more due to the fact of litter being on the floor, with this mat it really does keep the litter in the mat and not all over the floors. I could not wait to review this item I actually found something I LOVE. Thank you two meows for a wonderful product..
