3M Meter Antenna RP-SMA Extension Cable for WiFi Router

Works. My computer was in a bad place behind a plumbing wall that was blocking the signal from my router. Bought these to move the antenna to a better place. I had to buy three. Screwed one end into the wi-if card and the other into the antennas. The signal strength shot up and I was able to triple my wi-fi speed. Do not expect similar results unless you have a genuine obstacle. Also the length seemed longer than I needed but by the time I routed the cables and hid them the length was perfect. My network card came with a spare pci back so i used it as a bracket to mount the antennas. I did not find that it mattered too much which direction they pointer. It was far more important to get the antennas past the plumbing wall which acting as a faraday cage.

I was having a tricky time getting a WiFi receiver closer to the transmitter, so I hit on the idea of, "The antenna attaches to the device with an RP-SMA cable, so why not try adding an extension cord to the antenna itself?"I can't make any claims that improved reception, but it certainly didn't make it any worse and the actual mechanical/structural aspect of the cable was 100% as promised!

I bought these so I could choose where to put my antennas, but alas, these literally ruin any signal I could have hoped to connect to, and when I connect it to my Wi-Fi card it stays locked at the same mbps speed so I can't toy around with the location of my antennas to find a sweet spot. Waste of time and money.

Seems to transmit the signal over it's long length with little signal loss. Good quality terminals that screw on smoothly. Good quality at a reasonable price. I did receive the 5M cable by mistake, but I didn't bother exchanging.
