I bought these to use on a brief roadtrip during Covid 19. I agree with others who say you should practice at home first. It was pretty straightforward and worked, but a bit awkward to remove to discard if wearing pants. I’m sure it will get easier. I bought these because of their disposable nature and ease of packing. I’ll use them again when we can travel freely eventually (and plan to buy a box for my sister who travels with us).

The Butterfly Harmony S3 set of 10 funnels/disposable paper female urination devices are basically funnels for women's use in urinating outdoors or in cars when a rest room is unavailable. You may want to add a cup or container for the liquid to go into, if not letting it fall on the ground.My wife was concerned that the inside part of the paper might not be waterproof, and that there's a gap on the top once unfolded. But the carboard is actually waterproofed, and water rolls off the carboard easily. The front top shield should be placed in such a way as to prevent a gap, but you need to pay attention to this potential gap when unfolding. It's quite compact when folded, yet fits my wife's body contours better, and sticks out farther. She loves it!
