In my opinion these are the best fins for exercise swimming. I open water swim every day and these allow me to balance the effort of my arms and the effort from my legs. Without fins ( as a male) I would get very little leg workout. A small pool fin gives you a little extra leg work but not enough. These are just right. The other problem with most swimmers is their legs tend to sink, forming your body into a comma. If you don't have good strong kick your legs won't rise to the surface. If you use fins, you kick force improves and aligns your body with the direction of swimming, improving your stroke. High quality, durable, holds up to daily use, Recommended.

In the past had same type of flippers. They work for me doing laps at the pool.

The size that was shipped was a man's size 12 which was way too big. I had to return. I love TYR products the quality is fantastic. The only issue was i was shipped the incorrect size.

As someone with a size 15, it was hard to find fins that fit my shrek-size foot. It seems that most fins are only available up to size 13. The XXL these offer says they are good up to size 15 and they absolutely do fit! They are also compact enough to easily fit in a suitcase as a travel fin. The only thing I would note is that the blue is much darker than in the photos, not a big deal for me but it was one thing that did deviate from the listing.

I am a triathlete and use them for swim training. The have the right amount of flex and propulsion to them.Size. I purchased Size XL (Mens 11 - 13 Grey). I have worn a Men's size 12 Wide (Saucony sneaker) and used to wear size 12 Nike until Nike narrowed their running shoe line. Now I just cannot wear Nike.As far as fin fit, I believe I am at the absolute maximum foot size to fit the XL fins. My toes hang out somewhat.If your feet are any larger than a Men's 12.5 or 13, in my opinion, get the XXL. If your feet are superwide 12s, I would think about the XXL.

I LOVE them! Got them to replace my old very loved TYR crossblades (previous discontinued model) that had torn in the toe beds/along the brand stamp part. They seem to be stronger/thicker than the old model in those areas that had torn~ Weight is great, they give a nice boost of speed and also work the leg muscles really well. No rubbing or blisters at all, fit like a glove, true to size~ I’m a women’s 7.5 and ordered the S. Very happy with this purchase, they are fun to swim laps with :)
