Old fan started making some crazy noises. This was a great replacement for a great price. Installation was smooth, fan works like a charm, and it's super quiet. Very pleased with this purchase, I would recommend and purchase again.

Old fan was DOA and not going quietly. while this is definitely not a 'drop in and replace' repair, I found youtube videos showing it being done, and with patience completed in about 60-90 minutes. Male sure you have small screwdrivers with flathead, phillips head and hex tips.Fan is installed and working great. Saved buying a new 1200-1600 laptop.FYI: there are many, many fan configurations and models for the envy x350 15/ convertible. Ultimately I removed the bottom panel and found the stamped-in part number before ordering.
