Makes the miles fly for adults too.
My husband and I love to play this game during long (or even not so long) road trips. We altered the rules a little since one of us is driving and can't safely hold onto their cards. The person managing the cards draws 10 cards and reads them out to the car. The rest of the car tries to be the first to shout out the name of one of the items when seen. That person receives the card to hold and at the end of the game we total each persons points. We discard all the 'share the road' cards that call for cooperation from people in other cars.We also play a 'speed' version .... we know the cards by heart so we start with the whole deck ... you can yell out any of the cards at any time. And we play a 'one-up' version ... if you see something on one of the cards that is better than what someone else saw for one of the cards they already claimed, you can challenge them for their card. Like ... if the card is 'satellite dish' and the person who claimed it only saw a little one on the side of a house ... then if someone sees a big one or a tower covered in satellite dishes they could challenge and try to win the card -- we debate the merits and take a vote to decide who get the card. :)My 9 year old did not seem to enjoy the game very much, but I think that is because my car is not designed so that it is comfortable for a child to have an easy view out the windows ... if he is sitting back in his seat with seatbelt appropriately fastened then he really has a very limited view outside.I highly recommend this game for all your road trips -- it is fun and helps the miles fly by for us. Also, the box and cards are sturdy and well-constructed.

Great for road trips and any drive really
Best game!!! Bought this for a 6 1/2 hour car ride with 3 kids - me the only adult..: the kids were 8,6 and 3.... it was so much fun. Some are really hard (toll bridge and pay phone) but most are easy enough! We did take out some cards that have you interact with cars next to you (give peace sign and be acknowledged, thumbs up, wave with foot) mostly bc I didn’t want my kids interacting with strangers. Wasn’t worried about it, but was worried about my kids making angry faces at strangers who didn’t acknowledge them.. not many cards Required you to interact with others though. I pull these cards out now all the time! Even for short drives just to see how many we can all find. We don’t divide them up, just pull 3-4 cards and all look. I do wish it had pictures that explained more though so my 3 year old could “read” some cards

Enjoyable for the whole family!
My husband, 7-year-old son, and 5-year-old daughter, and I played a simplified version of this game during a two-day car trip. We just about made it through the deck over the course of the first day (~9 hours of mostly midwestern interstates). It was really fun and helped pass time! We didn't keep score and all watched for items from the same "hand", so it was not competitive but gave the whole group a sense of accomplishment.I noticed that on our return trip, which involved more remote areas on day one of the two day drive, we weren't able to get going on the first five cards. The game didn't seem to gain momentum, so we weren't playing by the second day when we were back in more populated areas. An expansion pack for more natural/rural settings might make this game more flexible for a variety of settings.

Fun game idea, but needs some tweaking.....
We purchased this car game on the recommendation of other gaming families. Sadly, it didn't live up to our expectations. First of all, the cards are flimsy, bent easily and the colors rub off as soon as you rub them together. They aren’t going to last very long. Secondly, the game has out dated cards....phone booth and weather vane? Not too mention, it’s very hard to get other cars to play along. No one looks at other drivers anymore. Also, this game is not made for driving the interstate....you’ll find almost nothing until you get to larger towns.Over all, it’s a fun game idea. But, we will need to tweak our set to make it worth playing again.

Fun family road trip game
We traveled from Ohio to SC, GA and FL. Kept our 13 and 14 year old entertained for awhile without having their eyes on a screen. We ended up taking out the green "Share the Road" cards because we didn't want them interacting with strangers, and the gestures getting misinterpreted. We also took out the public phone card and the toll booth card since these are extremely rare in 2022. We put labels over these and made up additional cards... Road construction equipment +5 if working, stoplight +5 if flashing, golf course, restaurant or restaurant sign, farm tractor +5 if working in a field, dilapidated barn or house, field of unharvested crops, house with an open garage door +5 if vehicle is inside, and water tower. We would highly recommend this game for anyone taking long or short road trips.

Awesome Game
This game was so fun. It was just me and my husband and we were driving home from a long vacation and we’re exhausted and had 6 hours left of 13. This game lasted the entire 6 hours (doesn’t have to, we chose for it too). Kept us awake and focused. Loved it

This is a fun car game and will keep the children entertained for quite awhile on a road trip. The adults can play along too.

great game for driving on a smaller roads, not so much for the highways
very well made and fun game. it is made for US roads, so some cards are irrelevant to Canada. Still fun to play on smaller roads, not so much for the highways.

Can be adapted
The concept is good. I'll be adding some items items to make it better across the many miles of Canadian prairie (combine, swather, pump jack, dilapidated barn, eagle on a fence post, various cow breeds and crops...). Some cards need minor adaptation (replace "state" with "province"). My five year old boy didn't love it as there were not enough things for him to find to give him a sense of success. With adaptation and maybe another year or two of maturity he will enjoy it. In the meantime we play a simpler version with no cards where he "gets points" for seeing various things.
