I was skeptical that anything could keep the many doves away from our back yard and swimming pool. After installing the Bird Spikes on our bird feeder, the dove population has markedly diminished around our back yard and swimming pool. The doves could not get into the feeder, but always rested on top of it or near it. Now they are never on the feeder and mostly out of the tree, quit eating the nearby peanut feeder, and only a few doves venture to the patio and swimming pool where their droppings were a nuisance. They usually try to nest on top of the outside shutter blinds over the house windows, but haven't this summer. With that said, the bird spikes were easy to install onto the wood top of our bird feeder. I am convinced that the bird spikes have made our bird feeder and its surrounds undesirable. so they go somewhere else. We are big fans of this product!

This works great for keeping my chickens from perching in the rails between my stalls.

These are very nicely made and packaged. I might well have given them 5 stars if I had them in use longer. As it is, I just don’t have a lot of experience with them, but it seems that they will definitely do what I intend. I have installed two on overhead beams in my barn where birds were roosting and making a mess on a water filter right below their perch. That problem seems to be solved. On to the next problem!

Although we love our wild birds, we had a problem with woodpeckers drumming loudly on our metal chimney cap, likely territorial and/or mating behavior. The anti-bird "rails" were easily trimmed with sheet metal shears and pop-riveted onto the top of the chimney cap after the spikes were installed. Since everything is stainless steel, we're not going to have rust streaks on the galvanized metal of the chimney cap. Reasonably priced and easy to install: The neighborhood is quiet now..

So far so good... Helping to keep the squirrels away from my bird feeders. Very Easy to assemble. Was surprised by the amount of product included. And appreciate the zip ties they included. They are helpful attaching the spikes to the bird feeder pole on top where the devils were kamikaze leaping off the roof onto the top of the pole. Used double-sided Allen tape to attach band strips to the roof edge

I’ve noticed that smaller birds, like finches love to build their nest in the V of the spikes.It has helped to keep the larger birds away, but the smaller birds still dance around it

Like these spikes. Ordered another pack. Gave 5 stars . The ties should be thicer and more heavy duty, But overall product is nice.
