great little device
great little device. I use it to connect my laptop to a dac that only has toslink & coaxial inputs. The driver software cd it came with is the same one that came with my smsl m6 dac and installed without any problems. I was surprised at how small the device is - it easily fits in the palm of your hand. I've only used the toslink & coaxial outputs, and couldn't hear a difference between the two (currently i'm using the coaxial output - but the sound quality is great whichever you choose). If you have a dac that doesn't have a usb input, then this is the perfect device for you.

Defective out of the box
Couldn't get my unit to work through my iMac. No sound whatsoever. Not sure if it was defective or something else. Returned it.
