I like the hair straightener ..it gets hot quickly and works great.. the problems I have is that when you order different color like purple, red etcthe color fades especially around the edges where the hair glides off the sides.. and chipped fading paint isn't healthy for my hair or skin..you should order white I ordered another one it's black I'm not sure if the color fades because I haven't tried it yet..when I try it I'll put a review..I wanted to order a white one yet it wasn't on sale and didn't have the ionic option the way the black one did.. the black one was on sale and has an ionic option for less static.. my hair clings to static..I like the glove on the purple one comes with it really helps because my hair gets hot ..almost forgot the other thing I don't like after its on my fingers & hands accidentally turn it off because the on/ temp control buttons are on the sides when I slide my hair through the brush my fingers pulling my hair through then my finger accidentally turns off the straightenermaybe they should place the buttons somewhere else on the device.. thanks for reading my review..best of luck....

Ordered after seeing this on television or something very much like it. I've been using flat irons for 30 years on my own hair, hair pieces and wigs. I was extremely pleased with the performance of this tool. It flows through thin and thick hair and was able to tame bed head in just a few strokes. Caution, caution, caution. This tool gets very hot. I had set it face down on a thin blanket and it scorched it quickly. Must use gloves with this product, they send one, I used 2. For $40 I think this is a steal especially since rolling straighteners, etc don't give great results and are 3 times the price. Just please keep out of reach of children and have a large silicon mat nearby for it to rest on. The only thing I would change about this product is the switches to turn on and off and heat adjustments are on the tool handle in such a way you hit them by mistaken when brushing so you always have to check.

I received this item today and while using it, one of the protective knobs on the device broke off. It didn't make my hair completely straight, I have very thick curly hair, it did diminish the amount of frizz that I had after. The instruction book doesn't make very much sense and wasn't well written. The glove did help amazingly well to keep me from burning my fingers as I held the hair while brushing. I could only get it to heat up to 446 degrees (F) and it would not go higher. It would be nice if it would heat up the extra 4 degrees, my hair does require a lot of heat to get straight. You can make it go from one measurement of heat to another by pressing the + and - at the same time. I am slightly impressed with this product and the fact that it tamed the frizz.I decided to return this product as I didn't want to run the risk of being burned by the element missing the protective knob.I bought this product for full price and did not receive a discount or the product for free for my review.

I bought this after seeing a company promoting it all over facebook. I finally decided to give it a try, hoping to replace the damaging effects of using my straightener everyday. It arrived before scheduled time, which was great because I was anxious to give it a try. Packaging was good, came with a glove to protect your hand from the heat, which is needed if you want to use your hand as a guide to really pull the hair straight when using it. You do have to hold the button to turn on and off for a few seconds, which is good, because where it is placed, I'd imagine if it turned on and off with just a simple push and let go, you'd be turning it off while using it. It heats up pretty fast, I was thinking that it only went up to 230 degrees, thinking that the advertising was misinformation, but then I realized, if you hold the + and - buttons down at the same time, it will convert it to the ferieheit temperature and it goes up to around 450 degrees. I used it on already dried hair from showering the night before. I think it will be great for days that I am not doing much of anything, days where I don't need my hair bone straight and sleek, but it will defiantly not replace my straightener all together because it can't do as great of a job as the flat iron can. My hair is already coarse, brittle and dried out, so excess heat is not good at all, this brush just running through it on a regular basis when simple straightening is needed should be better than the plates of a flat iron pressing it together between two plates that are 450 degrees and frying it. I have included pictures. The price was okay compared to the prices that I have seen other places with this tool, but I also have three flat irons that more than get the job done and I gave under $25 for each of them, so for it not doing as good or better than they do, the price is not the best for this item.

I have long wavy hair that is also frizzy. This worked well on my hair. It wasn't super strait but this brush only goes up to 230° so it won't straiten your hair like a traditional flat iron. I used it on my 6 year old and it worked really good on her. Worth the money and did it's job.

I have two teenage daughters and we all three love this!! Gets very hot, and causes less damage than my flat iron.
