love it or loath it the 80's was terrific decade for upcoming new sounds that defined an era and cattepulted the new electronics sounds we hear today on the dancefloor created by talented musicians remixes of 80's tunes are vast the decade that brought you early techno electro with the likes of new order, pet shop boys, jimmy sommerville, the progression from then to now has been massive tiesto, carl cox, lenny dee, bass generator,and alot of live performances from the likes of n-trance, qfx, ultra sonic, dream frequency, bass x, thriving on the new electronic sounds to high velocity, eighties music in its own right can hold up to this day on the dancefloors anywere.

Features just not 80s movie tracks but songs from the 60s/70s used in 80s movies. Two CDs of uplifting tracks creating an almost party like atmosphere. When played in my bar It all turns into a bit of a quiz as people try to guess the movie the track is from. The answers are all listed in the track listing. Ideal for the pub quiz.

I don't understand reviews where few stars are awarded but the text is positive. this is a great CD of 80's film tunes, great for reliving films and life back in the day! There are a couple of quite hard to get tunes on it too such as The Dream Academy's Please Please Please Let me get what i want (Smiths cover). 40 great tunes, great CD.

Bought this for the boyfriend as he loves old music including songs from old movies and musicals. Best road trip ever with this CD!
