Nanami has her work cut out for her.This is a lighthearted fantasy taking place (mostly) in modern times. Pretty much rated G or PG13 (there are veiled allusions to sex, some not-so-graphic violence). The story is mostly about a young girl (woman) trying her best to play Shinto God at an abandoned temple after the original god was gone for 20 years. Gradually, with the fox's help, she turns the temple around and attracts more visitors. She's working really hard; the perfect heroine. She's in love with the fox, but as I said, such love is forbidden. Nevertheless, Minami perseveres! We're rooting for her.If you like romantic comedy, this is one of the best around! Start from the beginning. In this volume, Nanami dresses like an OL! She's all grown up!

Arrived in good condition and I love this series it’s so cute!

The best Arc of Kamisama begins with volume 14 & continues through 17. This would have been the arc of season 3, which never came to be. This was adapted into an OVA, however that never received an overseas release. But the art quality of the original manga is beautiful. Highly recommend!

I am enjoying this story a lot. I wish it came out more often and not every 4-5 months. It makes it hard to keep excited about a series when it isn't being published in a timely manner. But all of the shoujo mangas have stopped being published in a timely manner. It's frustrating. I rate it a five because the story is good and has nothing to do with publishers and their issues. In this book Nanami is doing her best to go back in time to save Tomoes' life from a curse that was placed upon him 500 years before. It is a love curse. Such a charming story. Tomoes buddy from past years is involved in helping as well.
