These screws are a little longer than the screws that came on your car in case you have a thick license plate frame. This kit will fit most BMW vehicles, with or without license plate frame. To be safe, check what size screws you need for your car, front and back. Any hardware store or your dealer should be able to confirm the size you have already on your vehicle. Good looking screws, but not really secure
As an update I finally got the screws after a mixup in the post office which now I understand had nothing to do with the vendor. I can tell you that the screws are very well-made and they claim to be secure because of the way they are, not having a traditional flat or Phillips head, but the Head is so thick that you could clamp a locking pliers around ahead and remove them easily. You would think that security screws would be tapered around the end or be made with a thinner screw head so this could not be done. So while a regular screwdriver or a Phillips screwdriver or may not be able to take these off, a simple locking pliers removes them easily. So, just think of them as cool looking screws to hold up your license plate, the same screws offering Limited security.

Does not fit R56 Mini Cooper
Did not fit my 2011 R56 Mini JCW. The diameter and thread pitch is correct, but the length is far too long to work with the Mini’s plate bracket. High quality product, but did not work in my application.

Fit not as advertised.
Despite stating that these will fit a Mercedes, they did not fit a 2016 C-Class. You can see the size difference in the picture. Still, I will return it and hope they can fit the right ones to me, as they otherwise seem fine.
