SlyPry Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 SM-T530 T531 T535 Black Touch Screen Digitizer Panel Glass Replacement Part + PreInstalled Adhesive with SlyPry tools kit

This morning I was able to successfully replace the broken screen of my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 using this product and a few videos from YouTube. This took about 90 minutes for me to do. The hardest part by far was removing the old screen. I had more success with the blade of a Swiss army knife than with the SlyPry tool provided, however I did need the SlyPry to get the back cover off. My lessons learned (1) Put a towel down int he work area (lots of small broken glass pieces from the old tablet), (2) Make sure your SlyPry (or knife) goes behind the old digitizer, and not between its layers. (3) There are two plastic strips on the back of the new digitizer (one for glass, the other for the adhesive), I missed the second one with the glue and had to take it apart again. (4) The button is held on with two small rubber fasteners, do not slice through these when removing the old digitizer. Lastly, I used a candle since I didn't have a heat gun or a hairdryer. Not sure that was wise, but it worked for me.

I've replaced the screen on my tablet once before from an other supplier and had that one break during installation. SlyPry's screen quality held firm during installation and was malleable enough to adjust to a flush fit. The tools that came with the kit are of a decent quality but the SlyPry branded slide could do to be firmer over all I am happy with this product

With my husband's help I fixed my cracked screen. It was extremely difficult but it looks so much better.

did not fit my 2012 samsung galaxy 10.1 tablet this screen was too small so I returned it. unfortunately I had already destroyed the connection to my broken screen so now my tablet is a paperweight.
