Witches Moon Satin Tarot Bag Accessory – July 8, 2012

I really love the imagry of this bag; it is The Moon card from Dugan & Evan's Witches Tarot. The artwork and the reproduction of it is wonderful!... The bag itself, however, is another story.First off, the 'scene' is not carried over onto the back. It is not even dual-sided. The image is on one side only, with a pale blue/grey panel on the back which matches the insides. Most irritatingly, when you pull the draw-strings to bring it to a close, The Moon card's female-figure head gets ruffled. So, once closed, you do not see her face, just the distortion of her face via the scrunched up satin.The drawstrings pull tight and smoothly, which is a plus. The little 'dangles' at the end, however, are not plastic/glass/stone; they are simply satin cones made from the same material as the back-panel and insides. I feel this little but lacking detail could have made the bag appear quite more elegant.The bag is fully lined, though the satin material is very thin, and I do not forsee it protecting the contents very well. The overall material is very soft and smooth, but I have a fear that it will pull easily. Worse, I wonder how the image would hold up getting wet...I have not purchased themed bags from Llewellyn before, and if this is what all their satin bag products are like, I will not be purchasing another again.Like I said, the production of the imagry is done quite well, but the overall product is not quite worth what I spent (even if it is real satin, which I doubt).

I just recently purchased this bag and I absolutely love it. It goes with my Witches Tarot nicely. I own multiple tarot decks/bags and what I like most about this bag, is that I am able to tell instantly which tarot deck it is by its matching bag. Previous reviewers have noted that you cant see the image when the drawstring is pulled closed, but you can secure it without pulling it so tight to where you cant see the image.This deck is one of my favorites and the bag is just as beautiful. I highly recommend it if you own the Witches Tarot, or are a fan of The Moon Card. The bag is nice quality, somewhat thin, but overall worth the money.

These bags are roomy and pretty, and instantly identify the Witches Tarot as the cards they contain if you have a lot of different decks. It would be nice to see other bags printed with different images from the Witches Tarot major arcana, as the artwork on this deck is fabulous.

This bag goes very nicely with the deck. There is enough room to add a small crystal or two or a small cloth. I love having the bags that match the deck. It makes the decks much easier to find and access - expecially when, like me, you have multiple decks.

These are all beautiful, tarot decks fit perfect and you can put 2 decks of playing cards in one. The front art work is so well defined and soft as can be.
