Good headphones/earbuds for sports use - Aug 2023 Update
I was looking for a set of headphones to replace another set I did not like and didn't last long. I exercise 1.5 hrs./day 6 days a week. Therefore I needed something to stay in the ear, and could handle moisture (98 deg F at 90+ humidity - i.e. sweating profusely in the summer). I also needed something that that had "hear through" so I can hear sounds while doing road-work, such as automobiles.I selected these because they had an over-the-ear hook to keep them in place. They had some waterproofing, hear-through, and other control options. While I like having the noise cancelling, I don't use it as much since I let in ambient noise while working out.I've had these for over 6 mos. and I've put over 290 hours of use into them. They have had good battery life. They have held up to daily use without issue. I have been VERY pleased with them for what I need. I found them comfortable, and when I'm sweating, the ear hooks keep them in my ear. Of course, when I'm doing other exercises where I change position, the ear plugs can slip out due to moisture, they stay "in the ear" and don't fall off. The volume can be set quite loud, and I never need to put them to full volume.Things I have noticed. Sometimes one bud disconnects from the phone, but I've discovered this happens when I'm near another device openly broadcasting a Bluetooth connection. It only lasts about 10 sec or less, or I can remove the bud and reinsert and it is good to go. The bud pair sense their proximity and stop playing when they are a certain distance apart. This is actually a good quality as I use it when someone talks to me, I can remove one, and hear them without music blaring. I take care to wipe them down before putting them in the case to avoid buildup that may impair the charging capability. You have to make sure you set them in the charging case well, or it may not charge. However, I've only had this issue once or twice once I realized this and made sure they had good contact. The buds have white/blue light when charging.Overall, I'm really pleased with the JLab Epic Air Sport ANC headphones. I would order these again.Update - Aug 2023My original review was from Oct 2022. I currently have been using these for over 16 months, 6+ days a week usually at least 2-3 hours a day. They still perform well. Battery life is still good, and I have experienced no issues. Rain, below freezing, 90+ degree temps, high humidity...they still work.Note, all reviews are subjective. I use these specially and primarily for music audio while working in a wide range of temperatures.I do not recommend these for phone audio or conference calls. Every time I have used these for phone calls, the person on the receiving end has difficulting hearing me (soft voice), and additionally too much background noise. I just don't use them for phone calls, and I have another brand of earbuds I use during the day when I need to make phone calls.

My Ears Are Throwing a Party (And Everyone's Invited)!
Prepare to have your eardrums serenaded by angels (or your favorite rock band, whatever floats your boat)! I'm absolutely floored by the JLab Epic Air Sport ANC earbuds. Seriously, these things are a game-changer.First off, the sound quality? Forget everything you thought you knew about wireless earbuds. It's like having a miniature concert hall tucked inside your ears. The bass is deep, the highs are crisp, and every note is crystal clear. I've rediscovered my entire music library, and I'm hearing nuances I never noticed before. It's like my favorite songs got a VIP upgrade! And the battery? Oh. My. Goodness. It's like they're powered by some kind of mythical energy source. I've listened for hours on end, and they just keep going! I'm pretty sure they outlasted my attention span, which is saying something. No more scrambling for a charger mid-workout or during a long flight. These earbuds are in it for the long haul. The ANC (Active Noise Canceling) is also top-notch. It's like creating your own personal bubble of sonic bliss, even in the noisiest environments. Train? Plane? Loud office? No problem. It's just you and your music.Comfort? Check. Secure fit? Double-check. Easy controls? Triple-check.If you're looking for earbuds that deliver exceptional sound, a battery that lasts forever, and noise-canceling that actually works, look no further. The JLab Epic Air Sport ANC earbuds are the real deal. My ears are officially in a state of pure, unadulterated bliss. Five stars? Make it ten!

Very Good Sound, Useful App Features, Comfort, Amazing Battery life (4.5 Stars).
(Edit: Having used this about a week, I decided to add 1/2 more star at 4.5 stars. The master earbud, the right one, not showing the full, 100% charge, takes a half star off. The right ear bud charges up to 97%, but plummets to 92% within a few seconds (See below for the reason). As I have repeated the charging cycles, the average differential went down to 7-8% between the buds)This Air Sport Gen 2 earbuds seem to grow on me, the more I use them.Earbuds stay securely and comfortably over the ears. The sound that the earbuds produce at default value is good and well balanced. The app provides three preset Equalizer settings plus one customizable setting. It is great to have this Eq setting. The Jlab logo on each earbud is the control: 1, 2, 3 taps and extended touch controls just about everything. Also each touch setting can be changed, if you desire, and then you can also return the setting to the default position. I had to get used to not to touch the logo while adjusting the position over the ears. One alarming find was that the right earbud lost charge at an alarming rate. Turns out that the right one is the master and the left one is slave. Master uses up more juice (it never charged to 100%, while the left one did). I used the set nonstop for 4 hours, and the left bud was down to 85% of the charge. Jlab says the charge lasts 15 (16?) hours. I think it might be even better. Counting the battery charge in the case, the total is 70 hours. this means that if you use it all your waking ours, and charge the buds in the case during your sleep, the charge will last more than 4 consecutive days, without using the ANC. Think about that.Google AI says you can switch master/slave, in order to balance out the charge draining. It advised to pick out the left earbud first to make it the master, and then the right one to be the slave. I tried it, and it did not work as told. The left earbud functioned, but the right one fell silent. There were some complications, trying to get the right one to function. This trick did not work for me. I decided not to bother with switching the master and slave. The charge level differential between the left and right is 10 to 15% at all times. I can live with this. The case is the charger, so you will never likely run out of charge, as long as the case is charged, since no one really keeps this on ears 16 hours straight. Once you take them off your ear, you will store it in the case, where the earbuds will be recharged. For $60, this is a very good price/function ratio. I will see how things work out one year from now.
