I have used this cord for 6 weeks, under "normal" circumstances. I don't travel with my laptop- it only gets used at home, a few hours a week.I wasn't thrilled with the cord when it arrived... the block is heavy and built "sideways". I understand that it is meant to take up less space one a power strip. However, the block is so heavy, it will not stay plugged in. It is too loose in the wall and falls out if the cord is even moved slightly. I tried using a couple of different outlets and power strips, with the same results. The only solution I found was either tape the block to the wall or use a power strip laying flat with the outlet facing upwards so that gravity holds the block in place.The other end that plugged in to the computer was always loose and fell out easily as well. But today it fell out and left the silver and black insulator tip IN my computer. I was left with two wires poking out from the end of the cord. I had to open up my computer and pry the tip out of the power supply with tweezers. I can only hope permanent damage wasn't done and that a new cord will work.I know at least one other reviewer had the same problem. I seriously encourage you not to purchase this product.

The charger is cheap, after 30 mins in broke, it ruined my battery so now I am without a charger AND without the battery. Triple the cost.Neither Amazon nor the merchant will help you, they will just accept your return... not recommending...

Bought as a backup and for travel. worked fine for awhile but now it doesn't insert into the laptop far enough to charge. The one that came with the computer still does fine. Still haven't figured out why this one quit working.

These adapters are super-cheap, but they don't last long.I bought two of them. First one lasted for about 3 months, second one died in less than 60 days.In both cases the pin that goes into laptop broke down - it breaks into half very easily.

Worked just as well as the Lenovo brand charger at a much better price... now I can leave one plugged in at home and have one along as I carry my laptop.

I bought this as a back up but then accidentally broke the one that came with the laptop. Works great. Nice an compact.

Had to buy this replacement for my laptop and it's more durable
