Worked just fine for my new Cisco SPA514g. Cord is a little short if your poser outlet is at a standard hight in the wall and you want to move the phone around on the desk... But if you have the power outlet near the desk top, it would be perfect. This was perfect for me since it was a temporary solution until I get my PoE Switch.

Using it with Cisco SPA525G
My universal charger caused the phone to reboot occasionally so I replaced it with this Cisco brand. No issues at all, doesn't get hot.
