My parents had an extra grill they hadn’t used in quite a while that they decided to gift me & my boyfriend. The first time we attempted to use it my boyfriend realized the igniter didn’t work which made turning on the grill hard. After googling a lot we decided to purchase this one to give it a shot & it fit perfectly, connecting it was super easy & now we can turn on our grill as easily as it was intended

This igniter kit fit perfectly on my Charbroil pit and made for a quick change out once I had the old igniter removed. I have read reviews saying that the igniter/battery part of the new igniter was too big and wouldn’t fit into the hole on the bbq pit, but mine fit easily and only took a few minutes to install. My only mistake was buying a unit with 4 connections instead of 5…I forgot that I needed another connection for the fryer, which is not used very much. So I’ll just use a lighter for that, not a big deal.

Would of liked to have specific instructions included. Figured it out myself but did get a small electrical shock.

Char-Broil electronic igniter is Easy to install and works perfectly.

Not the same exact looking igniter bur works the same. instead of of pushing a button there is an external switch. Very simple to install and adapt.

I have a 10 year old charbroil grill. Overall the grill is still in decent shape but the button ignitor stopped working last year. I decided to give this replacement ignitor a shot to see if it would work and make starting the grill easier again. It was easy to install and it does work. I paid $20. The cost of $20 seems kind of steep in my opinion as I could have just used a lighter or match to ignite the grill. It will be worth it if the item continues to work for a few years. So far it works fine and I hope it continues to do so for at least a few years, but as I’ve only recently purchased this item it’s unknown on its durability at this point in time.
