Q: can you control the rgb with a seperate controller such as a razer or corsair controler, or does it hav e to go straight to a mother board header ?

So the control that it has is a button on the top part of the case that changes the colours being displayed. I personally have only tried it once as my set up is black and rainbow. From what I remember it should offer… Red, green, Blue and I think two versions of the rainbow.

Q: Product guide lists 55mm clearance on the top for radiators, however not specific compatibility. will the x63 kraken or arctic liquid 280 fit?

That depends on your motherboard. x63 kraken has a total thickness of about 51mm and the arctic liquid 280 is thicker. That being said I have a arctic liquid 280 in mine but it is a vary tight fit.

Q: Is there a usb c connection on the front panel?

Unfortunately there is not. Only on the back.

Q: When the case ships is the rear fan already oriented the correct way to be an out-take fan? Or would it need to be reversed?

There is no such thing as an out-take fan. It is an exhaust fan.
