I have used simple hole punches for years, but was disappointed in their ability to make a clean hole. This lever action hole punch works perfectly every time. I'm very satisfied, but it would be perfect if they could build in a tubing cutter too.

This works great and is so super smooth and easy. Place it on the pipe. I make sure the direction of the punch is correct. Slide it down a bit, gently squeeze and perfect hole to put in plug for spaghetti like ne irrigation. It makes a tedious job easy. Even in tight spaces. Cost and quality are great. Highly recommend. I wish I had this tool before. I was dreading replacing my irrigation system. This really made it a pleasure

So much better than the little black poke and punch I had used in the past. This tool gets a good grip around the 1/2" tubing and then quickly and easily punches a hole. No more having to push the tubing against a hard surface while forcing the punch in. Just lift the hose up a bit, put this tool around it, and click -- and immediately there is a perfect hole for a 1/4" connector.

Bought this to install the drip irrigation for my raised bed garden beds. Used on 1/2 inch irrigation pipe to install drip tape and emitters. Works great.

This is good for the half inch piping but doesn't really work on the quarter inch
