Decent boots with some issues
It's hard for me to pick a star rating for these, because there are pros and cons.. I looked at my history and I purchased a pair in November 2014 and then in November 2015. For some reason, I thought I'd had the first pair for longer, but I guess not!If you're looking at a calendar, you may note that I seem to go through one pair of these per year. But, I live in Chicago, and I don't have a car; that means that in the winter, I'm wearing these to and from work, and additionally, I'm often wearing them on any errands that involve walking outside in the winter when there is snow on the ground. On the least active days, I was still putting a mile on them; if I was doing a lot of errands, many miles. And they were quite comfortable for walking, especially when I first got them. I think these would last the average car-driving person at least two winters.A big PRO is the price. Looks like I paid $40 each time, but now they are down to $30.Another Pro is that they are good in "dry" snow. Caked on the sidewalk, frozen over and gray, these are good in it.But the slush. I pulled these out for the first time this winter on a snowy, slushy trip to the zoo. My feet were soaked when I came home, and so were the shoes. I pealed this bad boys off at 9pm and when I went to put them on the next morning at 7am, they were still very wet. (I didn't end up wearing them and put on some rainboots instead). They are absolutely not waterproof. I think since I wore them out last winter, they are probably less water-resistant than they would have been, but even when new, they were not waterproof. This wetness also resulted in stinkyness. I remember the main reason I replaced the first pair: They smelled. But if you can avoid using these in slushy snow, you won't have that problem.Overall, great boots for the price, but if you will be trudging through sludgy snow, go for the next boots.Final tip: I got these in black initially because I thought the white would get dirty, but with all the salt, the white ones actually look cleaner!

Nice winter boots!
This is a really nice pair of snow boots. They are stylish, I like the inside zipper feature for easy on and off, and they are made for winter and snow. Also like that the sole and heel isn't overly high and thick. I expect they should be great. The boots are generously sized so I would recommend you order your usual shoe size, which should work fine with any winter weight sock.

Love these warm snow boots!
I got these just in time for the East Coast January snowstorm of 2018. Went out in the snow to remove snow from my heat pump. We had a about 16 inches of snow & it was 15 degrees outside. The snow did not get inside my boots due to correct & snug fit & my boot socks. I have bad knees & lose balance. These boots grip the snow & I can safely walk in them. I was also able to shovel snow in them. They are supportive, comfortable, not heavy, lined, warm & safe in slippery weather. If you like to wear thick socks or 2 pair go up a half size. They are perfect. It would be nice if they also came in a higher style boot for deep snow. And on top of all this they are an attractive snow boot.

Snowmageddon 2016
I ordered these at the last minute after realizing I didn't have any snow boots, and the Snowpocalypse 2016 was heading our way. They came just in time, and I'm pretty happy with them. The color I got isn't the most fashionable (white and black...it was cheap and available!), but for something I'll only wear a few times a year, I can deal with it. I ordered 8 c/d (wide) because, well, I have wide feet and plan to use thicker socks. I usually wear a size 7, but sized up to 8 after reading some reviews. The 8 is a little big size wise, but the width is perfect. I probably could have gone with 7 wide and been fine.Comfort wise, they're great. I have only worn them for a few minutes here and there to shovel a path through the white stuff for my dogs, but they are WAY more comfortable than the boots I had before. My only complaint is that when outside with them, not standing in snow, I can feel the cold creeping through the shoes. Granted I'm not wearing super thick socks, but I'm also not tramping through snow. They do seem to keep the water out though. In all, I'm glad I ordered these and would recommend them. But, make sure you have some extra warm socks on hand to go with them.

Far worse when I walked in slush
I purchased this boot because I thought it was cute. Still is cute. It was a little bigger than expected. My complaint is I purchased this boot before winter so that I have it in preparation for Chicago snow. Had I purchased it during the winter time and worn them, I would have had an opportunity to return them. The issues I have had with them begins with the fact that my feet were always getting wet when I walked in the snow. Far worse when I walked in slush. The heel (black rubber portion) was starting to separate from the black cloth portion of the boot, early on. I have kept the boot because, again, I missed the window to return. But now, the second winter is here and the inside of the boot where the heel of my foot goes is completely collapsed. In both boots. I have to put tissue in the holes so that it doesn't hurt my foot. But now it's hurting too much to wear. So after having for only two years and wore for only four months, I have to throw these boots away and purchase different ones sine winter refuse to let go.
