🍻 Tap into Perfection with Every Pour!
The Perlick 525PC Chrome Draft Beer Faucet Tap features a forward sealing design that enhances sanitation and performance. Its stainless steel lever ensures durability, while the innovative O-ring system eliminates the need for a valve shaft, making it a superior choice for both home and commercial use.

A very good choice
Important note (thanks to Wick in the comments of this review): Although I did order a 525PC, I actually received a 630SS. This review is for the 630SS (which is a newer model of faucet that has a better design than the older 525PC). Little wonder I love it so much!---A very good, very smooth beer tap. This goes on a kegerator that I built and replaces an old faucet that would stick if I didn't tap the keg often enough. This design is much simpler than the faucet I replaced. It's Perlick so I have every confidence that it's going to hold up over time. Note that a tap handle does NOT come with the faucet, so you'll need one of those if you don't already have one. The action on this tap is like butter...very smooth and very easy from which to pull a pint. In fact, I found myself inventing reasons to have another beer or two just so I could pull one off the keg....This may be overkill, but I did tape the threads with plumber's tape to ensure a good seal.I think you can't do much better but you can do a whole lot worse than this faucet. I really do like it.

Save yourself time and money and just add these to your cart. Great investment.
If you're reading reviews about this, you probably bought another faucet like I did. I started off with two of what I always thought were the standard beer taps. I got so frustrated that they got stiff all the time so I looked into these Perlick faucets. Best decision I've ever made with my kegerator (next to buying one of course)Easy to clean, very easy to use, and it doesn't stick. If you are looking to invest in your first set of faucets, buy these. If you want to save some money on your first faucets....buy these. Or buy other ones and then buy these. You will be happy you did.

BE WARNED -- PRODUCT LISTING CHANGED & THE RATINGS/REVIEWS ARE NO LONGER ACCURATE!
Be warned -- this product listing was improperly switched in Dec 2014/Jan 2015 from the 630SS tap to the 525PC tap. This means all 17 of the mostly stellar ratings/reviews are actually for the newer stainless steel 630SS tap -- they are NOT for the 525PC tap, although that's how Amazon is presenting them now.The 525PC is an older design & chrome-plated brass. The 630SS is stainless steel & a newer design. The fact that Amazon or a seller improperly changed the product listing is clear if you read the reviews. Several people mention the benefits of the newer 630 tap design over the 525 (ironic or what?), or how they like the "stainless steel construction" (which is true only of the 630SS!):teraflx on June 26 2014: ...This 630 has fixed the drip issue that some people had with the 525....-----------------E. Sikorski on December 16 2014: ...I like that it is solid stainless steel as well without any plated components...-----------------Zeph on August 28 2014: ...The previous faucets I used before I switched to the 630s would feel like someone welded them shut if I went away on vacation for a week...I've mentioned this to Amazon support weeks ago, but they haven't corrected the problem. I think this is a serious mistake because the 5-star rating of this product is now false, & the ratings/reviews are really for the newer/better 630SS tap.

Great Kegerator Faucet!
These are hands down my favorite beer faucets. They never stick, they don't leak, and cleaning is very simple. The previous faucets I used before I switched to the 630s would feel like someone welded them shut if I went away on vacation for a week. These faucets have no issues being left closed for a few weeks. The floating seal seems very sturdy, too. Sometimes I'll get a few extra drops pouring out of the spout after its closed, but these have never leaked on me. I would highly recommend these to any homebrewer that kegs their beer!

Great tap, noticeably better looking and less mess than traditional taps. The only downside I have experienced is significantly more foam on your pours (your first 3 seconds of each pour in particular).

Good upgrade
Still get a few drips after you close the faucet but still a major upgrade over the tap that came with the kegerator. Easy pour.

Very good tap
The action on these is excellent. I am not experienced with taps (built a beer bar for parties, never had a tap before), but a friend who is experienced with beer brewing helped me build the bar and said that after trying these, he was going to replace the taps he has at home with them.

Good product
Much better tap than the one that came with my kegerator. Promotes better pour, more carbonation and easier use - recommend it!
