PEETPEET, Family Dryer, Heated Dryer for 3 Pairs of Boots and Shoes

With three kids under 10, this product has been fabulous for us. Boots, gloves, and mittens all have been dried on our machine. It has the ability to close 4 of the 6 ports, to dry one pair of the above. Or, it can dry six items. The heat feature and timer are excellent. Highly recommended.

*** Update : I’m downgrading my review from 4 stars to one star because this item stopped working after only 2 uses. I just went to use it for the third time and it will not turn on. I’m sending it back and will try getting another one. I’ve tried it on 3 different working outlets, I don’t know what the problem is. I will update my review if the second one works out better.I bought this brand of boot dryer because their previous models have great reviews for longevity and quality. I was really excited that it has 6 drying spots. So far - this dryer works amazingly well. I LOVE that I can open or close 4 of the drying spots so that the air gets sent only to the ones I need. My previous dryer - all slots were on or all slots were off, unless you used something to cover or block the unused slots, which I didn’t do for fear of causing a fire.My primary complaint is that I have to remove the drying nozzle from each individual drying slot to see if each one is open or closed before I put anything on to dry. It would be nice to have a dial or something alongside each nozzle to open/close it as needed. The other issue is that the vent seems to open/close easily, so even if I didn’t close one specifically, I’ll check and it’s closed - probably because of movement or vibration. I’m also not a huge fan of having to buy each type of dryer nozzle separately - the boot ones don’t work great with gloves, and the glove ones obviously don’t work well with shoes or boots. Maybe there is a general use one but I didn’t find it.Overall, I’m going to see how this vent open/close thing goes, if it becomes a huge problem I will probably contact the company or Amazon for an exchange. Other than that, so far I think it’s great.

Works great! Dries my kids boots and gloves nicely after playing in the snow. After a few hours of rest, they are ready to back out again and now have dry things to put back on. Have had it only a month but so far, so great!

Worked great for the first few months but then tried to use it again after a couple months of not using it and it doesn’t work anymore. Not worth the money if it isn’t going to last.

Good shoe dryer is a little noisy so I put it in the bathroom and shut the door. Love that the angles of the vents can be moved.

It is perfect for my house as we have 4 kids and two adults. Yes I know that is 6 pairs of shoes but after 2 hours I just switch the boots around so they are nice and dry for the next round of being outside.

Only worked about 50 uses to get me past the return window and the electronic part went out now it won’t turn on. Very disappointed. The whole idea is to hang soaking and snow covered boots on it to dry so you have to be very carefully not to get water in it or it can fry the electronics. I pay close attention not to do that and it still went out. If you buy one don’t plan on it working for years like the models with the heat element only. It has a bunch of buttons and timers that can go out. Mine did.

Dec 2024 update: We struggled with keeping this one running. It stopped working the first season we had it. I contacted the company (who was great to work with!) And they sent me a replacement part. The next year, it broke again. I didn't bother contacting the company again over the same issue since it was a year after I purchased it. I ended up throwing it away this year. Decreased to 3 stars. When it worked it was great, but it didn't last 1 year.We have a traditional single pair PEET boot dryer which is used almost daily year-round (between the kids jumping in puddles and my husband's sweaty work boots). We knew we needed more driers for the winter, so I ordered this one just before Christmas (have had and used a lot for 3 months now)Pros:● 6 spots means lots of areas for boots and gloves to dry● easily take the boot insert off to put the smaller gloves AND the dog booties on● timer so it's not on 24/7● heat option if you want it● don't need all 6 spots? 4 of them can be shut off.Cons:● it's loud. Our other PEET drier is so incredibly quiet that this was a surprise the first time we used it● all the boot spots are short. While it's ideal for the kids boots and gloves, it's not practical for my mid-calf boots. You can buy or make extentions (bonus con)Would I recommend this product? yes.Am I happy with it? MostlyWould I replace this one with the exact thing or have 2 exactlythe same? No
