Great artist tool!
My best friend is a graphic designer and he used to use Faber-Castell Polychromos, after trying these he's hooked on Pluqis! While not a full time artist, I also love Pluqis pencils for crafting projects and girls wine and coloring nights. They are fantastic, have tons of colors, with nice even coverage, not your typical streaky colored pencil look. I definately recommend these to artists and kids alike!

These are the BEST COLORED HIGH PIGMENTS every I have seen and used
These are the BEST COLORED HIGH PIGMENTS every I have seen and used. This August will be a year since I started coloring with Adult Books since then I have purchase about 9 to 11 packs of colored pencils. I have brought top name brand Prisma color, Faber Castel, Marco Raffin, Ohuhu also a brand of Marco Raffin. Sargent and Crayola and some other brands. But these take to the top of the line of colored pencils I mean these out beat the list that I have written down. These have the name on them they even have the top of the pencil color the same as the lead so there is no reason that you will forget what colored pencil you use if you make a mistake. These are the ones to buy they need to have more likes packs of 30, 40, and 50. THE BEST ONES OUT THERE BELIEVE me.

THE GIFT OF AN ESCAPE!!!
Recently I was diagnosed with CRPS (horrific pain 24/7) and Dysautonomia so every day is a struggle. A struggle to get up, a struggle to stay alive and a struggle to do anything. I've found that although I'm no artist, coloring gives my mind something else to focus on! I know it sounds crazy, but taking a break from my personal hell even if for only 20 minutes is an amazing gift. These pencils help with that and are strong, hard to break while using!!! Thank you AND, if you ever need someone to test new ones/colors and offer up their honest opinion I hope you'll think of me!

I was actually surprised at how nice these were for the price
I have been using a big set of Prismacolor soft-core pencils for years, but went on a long vacation and forgot to bring them so I ordered this small set because they were reasonably priced and looked decent. Although they aren't in the same league with my other pencils, I was actually surprised at how nice these were for the price. I've tried many different brands of pencils and if you don't want to shell out the big bucks for pencils I think these are a very nice choice- colors are fairly vivid, they blend quite well and go down smoothly. If you're currently using Crayola or something of that sort, you'll probably love these.

Excellent set of quality pencils.
I received these pencils and am very pleased so far. Colors are vivid, lead is soft and applies very smoothly without effort. Blending and layering are superb. I wish they would offer larger sets with more colors. Can't beat the quality or the price. The box they come in is simple but works well for keeping the pencils arranged and easy to use and put back. Good job on all fronts.

Great pencils!
These are awesome art pencils! They are fatter than what I am used to so that took a little getting used to, but they are top notch in color rich pigments, coverage, smooth lay down and they are good for shading and blending. They sharpen pretty well in the large hole of my manual sharpener. Sadly, they only come in a 24 count set but those 24 are really nice colors. I used them with my Faber Castell Polychromos for blending and the two sets worked really nicely together. In my opinion these are top grade artist pencils at a fraction of what I have paid for my other top of the line pencils so I was happy to find these.

A pleasure to use these pencils for sketching
This is the first time I've used wax-based colored pencils for sketching. I like how they glide over sketch paper and the intensity of color can be increased by going over an area several times. This type of pencil does not seem to blend at all. Just know that before you use them. I plan to use these for a basic drawing class, in addition to soft sketching pencils. My students will be encouraged to add some color to their finished sketch just for fun. I recommend these colored pencils as an intermediate medium between watercolor pencils and oil-based artist's pencils. These are aver nice quality and I think I'll enjoy drawing with them for years to come. Also, these pencils arrived pre-sharpened, which is handy. I also found I could easily sharpen them as needed with a small pencil sharpener or with my electric sharpener. No problems.

Economical for children, but probably not for the colored pencil artist.
Thes did not have good color saturation, and did not work very well for layering before becoming shiny and having bloom. The colors were true to their description which is easy to read and has the feel of a graphite pencil. Good for children but probably not a realistic choice for the colored pencil artist. But then again they are economical.

Great pencil crayons
So far no broken ones, great colours, don't have to press hard to get good coverage, compared to the really expensive ones, I would buy these again!
