Mixed feelings
I have mixed feelings about this kettle. But I cannot deny that it is a kettle.

Looks great, has lasted well so far
I've had this kettle for 6 months. It's worked well so far - here's to hoping it lasts despite the very hard water here.

Beautiful but not fit for purpose. Would not recommend.
This kettle looks beautiful but it is flimsy. It sticks to its base making it hard to use. Not had problems with lime sitting on top of boiled water till this kettle, it furs up terribly. In summary aesthetically pleasing but not fit for purpose - still in use but I don't think it will last long.Update March 2019 - after a couple of scalding instances, due to the base lifting with the boiled kettle and dropping off, it has been thrown away. I hate waste but there was no other safe re-use for this kettle.

Not your usual prestige
When you lift the kettle the base comes with it, even when fairly full. Also expect to get a steam burn as some comes out.
