Growsun5 Gallon 220 Micron Bubble Filter Zipper Bag for Washing Machine

I like how strong the zipper is on this unit, using more coarse teeth. They aren't so coarse that material will pass through it but enough to where the zipper teeth should hold up to the washing conditions. It even uses YKK brand zippers that youll find on Carhartt, Mountain Hardware, North Face etc so it is nice to see.The mesh material feels quite strong and should hold up to many uses,m provided you clean the bag after use. These coarser material wash bags tend to get pretty resin coated depedning on the material used.The bag, at least without looking at the mesh sizing under a scope seems to be the same as other 220 micron bags that I have bought.While I haven't used this yet, I have bougtht the growsun all mesh bags before and they worked great for a single run. Just cleaned them and dried them and should be good for many more runs. But for this 5 gallon bag, it is not perfectly the size of a standard 5 gallon bucket but smaller which is actually desired so it isnt occupying the entire size of the bucket, allowing you wash the material properly. Stitching is good and nothing has been frayed from the factory. At the end of the day, for being $16 delivered with prime, overnight is a good deal and had fast shipping. I will use this with the bubble bag dude 5 gallon washing machine. Just be careful not to overfill the bag and I expect great results.

Great quality and performs it's job well

I got this bag for doing bubble-hash in my mini washing machine. It's made well, and the quality seems pretty good. I got it so I wouldn't have such a mess to clean out of the washer. After doing several loads, and comparing side-by-side, I was getting a better return without the bag. I'm not sure, but maybe I could get a better result by leaving the bag in the machine longer, but in the long run, it would take more ice and time. It's a pros vs cons type thing here.

This bag changed my washing setup. Increased my yield by a good amount. I highly recommend.

This product does cover the zipper seam with an external flap, reducing or eliminating concern over contamination.The zipper teeth are of a sturdy plastic or nylon, and the pull (on the one I received) is metal. More expensive versions of these bags, offer fully plastic zippers, and/or rubber flaps for more secure protection of the zipper pull. I feel like this product addresses those concerns to a satisfactory degree, and do not foresee issues with the zipper pull finish chipping and contaminating my final product, as it is protected from contact with the wash basin and it’s parts.

Very sturdy, with a manual tie to keep the zipper closed while washing. Very durable and completed the task perfectly.

I have used this bag a few times and it has held up well in our washing machine. The zipper closure could be a littler beefier but for the price this is a good wash bag.
