Treasure Island (Royal Collector's Edition) (Illustrated) (Case Laminate Hardcover with Jacket)

The books amazing - of course it is, thats why we buy it! This was bought as a gift and in the images the jacket looks like it has a finer grade matte and embossed look but it arrived and it was just a cheap paper jacket with a gloss print finish.This is the ONLY down side and the only reason I gave it four stars. Find one with a better cover of your looking for a gift!

It is a gift and it is perfect

Hardly a collector's edition. I was astonished when I received this book: the print quality is abysmal, inside and out. From the cover design (and the price point) you might expect some embossing at least, but instead the cover is fuzzily pixelated and misaligned, about the quality you would expect from a screen-printed t-shirt. I'm happy to pay extra for a "collector's edition" of a favourite book, but this is obviously someone taking a public domain book and flipping it at a high price-point via a print-on-demand service. Total rubbish.
