Zinsser Allcoat Exterior WB (Satin Finish) Ready Mixed Colours 2.5 Litre Anthracite Grey (Ral 7016)

Lovely paint. Goes on a treat. Only one coat needed. Reliably great. Oh and a great colour match too.

Great exterior paint. Goes on easily on all types of surfaces. We used it on fencing, doors, walls and metal and it went on beautifully. Dries quickly so able to do a second coat the same day. Brilliant.

Based on the reviews I bought this paint for our exterior decoration project & so glad I did!It was used on clay tiles, wood, metal & UPVc all to brilliant effectOur decorators said it was probably the best paint they had used, was easy to apply & went a long way with a great finish. We have had so many different surfaces painted with this & have still not finished one 2.5 litre tin! More importantly it’s completely revived an old (previously green) metal shed & a metal garage door that was in such a bad condition that we thought it would need replacing completely.Double whammy … saved money not having to buy replacements & saved the planet from more unnecessary landfillAt first glance you may think (as others have commented) that it’s on the expensive side BUT when you factor in that fewer coats are required that saves in both paint & labour costs, maybe not so much?Honestly cannot recommend highly enough!

Brilliant product. I used this to paint white upvc windows Dark Grey. And it was brilliant. It does take 2 coats as the first covers streaky ( like you paint and you have a dirty brush with hairs stuck together so you can see the white beneath in lines) but don't over work it just let it dry as the 2nd coats gives you a perfect finish.

Is this paint too good to be true? It is water-based so very easy to clean brushes or spills. It goes on so easily and doesn't smear or run (unless you try really hard!), it doesn't need an undercoat and covers very well and it claims it can last for over a decade. Is there a down side? Not that I can find, other than the purchase cost. However, if it does last even half the time it claims, it is still good value for money and I'll have extra years before repainting. I won't buy any other brand for my woodwork now I've discovered this.

Painted new white fascia to match anthracite windows, two coats applied with roller covered well without any surface prep, after a couple of days created a reasonably hard shell which is fine for pvc trims etc. paint is pricey but works out a bargain in comparison to the increased price for anthracite foil covered fascia and soffit boards…

Does what it says on the tin! It has great coverage. It was easy to apply and dried quickly. Also loved the colour
