Overall nice tart pan
I ordered two different tart pans and kept this one, as it was much sturdier. I also wanted one without the nonstick coating for health reasons. I sprayed this one with oil and my tart came off easily. I docked it one star because the pan leaked. This is my first time using one, so I don't have anything to compare in that regard. Next time I would just put a pan underneath.

I had to go with another brand
It ruined several tarts I made. The bottom plate stuck to the bottom of the tart. Unfortunately, I had to go with another brand.

It works
Not a huge fan of aluminum cookware in the home, but I’ve used it daily at work and I know how efficient it is at heat transference. That characteristic is the reason I own a precious few pieces. This is one of them. It produces a superior tart crust: crispy, flaky and beautifully browned. No soggy bottoms here.

Quality Construction - As Always! Deep Dish Pies for the win!
I love Fat Daddio products. They are such high quality! I bought this to make a deep dish pie because I wanted to be able to remove it from the container afterward for presentation and service. It was my first time making a pie, and it went really well. I will know how to wrap my dough better the next time, but I was very pleased! I wish they made a 1.5” tall tart pan, but this one did the trick at 2”. My dough stained the aluminum on the first use somehow. It was just a butter dough. It will still work just fine, though. My dough did not stick at all and was crispy and flaky as anything!

This tart pan is the best I have used, good size and sturdy construction. I use it to make an awesome, Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Oreo Pie.Ingredients 1 package (about 36) whole Oreos or Trader Joe's "JoJo" if you need gluten-free 1 cup (16 tablespoons) butter, divided ⅔ cup packed brown sugar 1¼ cup heavy whipping cream, divided 1 (12 oz) bag dark chocolate chipsInstructions1. Finely crush the Oreos with a food processor or blender. Stir crumbs together with 8 tablespoons melted butter until well combined. Press into the bottom and sides of a pie pan. Freeze crust for 10 minutes until set.2. Combine remaining 8 tablespoons butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture begins to bubble. Continue cooking, whisking constantly, for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Slowly whisk in ¼ cup heavy whipping cream until smooth. Cool caramel about 15 minutes. Pour the caramel over the Oreo crust, then return to freezer for about 30-45 minutes until just chilled and set. (You don't want the caramel to fully freeze.)3. Place chocolate chips in a glass bowl. In a saucepan, bring 1 cup heavy whipping cream to a simmer over medium-high heat. Pour the cream over the chocolate chips and let sit for 5 minutes, then whisk until completely smooth. Pour the chocolate over the caramel and freeze for a final 30 minutes, until just chilled and set. OR refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.4. Before serving, sprinkle the top with a flaky sea salt like kosher salt or Fleur De Sel.Makes: 8-12 servings.NotesStore covered in the refrigerator and serve chilled. (I leave it in the freezer)

Fat daddio pans are a baking professionals best friend. This tart pan is great. Just know that Fat Daddio pans can not be put in the dishwasher.

Yes, Fat Daddio’s scores 100! It’s the most incredible baking tool ever. baking sheets, bread pans, muffin tins, baking sheets, pie tins and cheese cake pans with removable bottoms, things never stick with Fat Daddio’s!

Great quiche pan!
Extremely happy with this. I made a quiche last night and the crust was a very nice even brown, and there was no leaking from quiche pan (although I had placed an empty cookie tray below on another rack to catch any drips to be safe). This was definitely a great product to purchase and I will be using this for many years to come, since it is so sturdy.

LOVE FAT DADDIO PRODUCTS
baked a nice deep'' cinnamon apple pie....had rave reviews....using this Fat Daddio fluted tart pan.....bottom crust was excellent..as well as the entire crust....little bit of effort to remove overflow spilled onto the sides in just a couple spots..but no big deal....very happy with this...and this is now my second one ordered...Alton Brown on food network...baked a deep dish apple pie in a similar 2" deep tart pan [it may well have been a fat daddio tart pan]...and he put on a top crust which is what I wanted also...and DID. so...YOU CAN PUT A TOP CRUST ON IF MAKING A PIE...AND YOU'LL HAVE THE LOVELY FLUTED CRUST....Thank you Fat Daddio...I have several of your round cake pans in different sizes and very pleased..
