Q: would this be okay for traveling around the world for several years to store in a one-wheeled trailer, or are there other brands??

It is foldable, and the storage length is around 90-100cm when folded, so need to check with the trailer length.

Q: I want to use this stand for vertical storage of my bike in small apt as well as repairs. Good fit for that? Footprint of base?

probably 3x3x3 foot triangle base. Not sure about standing vertical, possibly if it's a lighter bike?

Q: Whats the clamp made of? Plastic or medal?

The clamp is nylon (plastic) it seems to hold up well but you can't really torque anything on the bike while it's on the stand. Overall it's good quality for the price.

Q: how do I contact seller? cant find any link to do so. Need to purchase replacement clamp rubber pads...
