I did some research trying to find some good stemless, unbreakable champagne flutes that would not break the bank as a small gift for a friend. These were consistently rated high, so I finally pulled the trigger with some trepidation. When they arrived I was a bit disappointed. They are very light weigh and there is a(n) (almost unnoticeable) seam down the side. They are brilliantly clear, but still obviously plastic. I decided to go ahead and gift them and hope for the best. Several weeks later I was at said friend's house and we opened a bottle of Prosecco and she brought out these glasses. I must say they "drink" well! They highlight the wine, have a good feel once filled and they were perfect for casual quaffing. I would use them with confidence in any arena that glass might pose a problem and even for those times when you're just kicking back, having fun. My only complaint after actually using them was that the edge is not rolled at all, so it has a sharp feel.

These glasses are awesome because they are plastic. I didn't realize they were plastic but I should have because of the "unbreakable" aspect of them. They are perfect though because you can't break them -- not even kidding I broke one of my wine glasses the same night I got these glasses, and I found myself wishing I had "unbreakable" wine glasses too! Definitely worth the purchase and they look like real glass. I tossed one at my husband (he didn't know they were plastic) and freaked out when I said 'heads up!' so he believed it was glass too!

I was so excited to see that WineTanium now has their fantastic shatterproof, BPA free glasses in a champagne flute! I love the wine glasses so had to order these for the holidays! We don't drink champagne on a regular basis and storage in our kitchen is at a premium so these are so nice to be able to use for the occasional party and then store them away without worrying about them breaking. A friend the other night didn't even realize they weren't glass, they have a nice feel to them and the best thing is, you can throw them in the dishwasher! No more hand washing wine and champagne glasses after every use. The BPA free part is huge for me too, love that feature! I highly recommend these glasses for ringing in the upcoming New Year, and if you have a little to much bubbly and drop your glass...no worries!

I don't think any reviews mention how spotty these are coming out of the dishwasher (yes, I use a liquid detergent and a rinse aid). No issues with cloudiness, but they do require a damp wipedown if you care about such things.Otherwise, I echo all the positive things other reviewers have said. They look good, perform well, and really are shatterproof.

I have purchased in bulk many stemless champagne glasses. These glasses beat those by a mile. They are decently sized and the thickness of the plastic makes it seem like they are actually made of glass.

WineTanium makes a line of quality plastic wine glasses. I have the stemless Champagnes and the stemless wine glasses on my boat. The champagne glasses are nice to drink from and enhance the "bubbly experience" without the risk of breakage. My only criticism is that they're not particularly stable. Even the brush of an inattentive hand will turn them over. A weighted base would go a long way toward solving this issue. Would recommend.

These plastic glasses look like glass from a distance. They hold up nicely in the dishwasher and they're great for parties or drinking bubbles on the beach, which is their main use for me.Almost a year later: These glasses have held up quite well! They've endured parties, weekly trips to the beach, lots of sand, dishwashing, salt water, boat rides, etc. There are a few scratches and they're not quite as shiny as they were new, but they've been through a lot of wear and tear. I will buy more.

Hand a filled one of these flutes to a guest, and he or she may be unlikely to notice they are not made of glass, at first anyway (unless the guest drops it. At least only liquid would need to be cleaned up.)
