I had a faulty Blaze fuel cup literally explode on my me causing 2nd degree burns all over my hand. I followed instructions, used a long handled lighter and it was on a surface when lit. I couldn't work my side job for 2 months. I reached out to the company giving them all pictures and information I had, and they flippantly dismissed me citing a misuse of a commonly used name for fuel cups (who doesn't call them sterno cups?), claiming I had a faulty lighter (lighter is still in use today and works fine) and finally that I didn't have the cup under the chafing dish when I lit it...which is a good thing actually as the fuel forcefully expelled out of the cup after making a loud "popping" noise...had it been under the chafing dish, the fuel would have hit the bottom of the dish and cascaded out toward me, completely coating my hand in the burning fuel, rather than just having globs of it land on my hand after spewing up into the air. Horrible company and shame on them. Beware!
