Great baby monitor!Ganewry HD 720P is a very nice camera! I have been looking for a camera since my son was born 6 months ago, so I can always check up on him on my phone when I am at work or when he is taken care of by grandparents or babysitters. The baby monitors we have researched are much more expensive, especially the ones that can be connected via an app. Ganewry HD was recommended by a friend, and I decided to give it a try.The install guide was not flawless as it clearly wasn't written by English native speakers, but it doesn't pose any challenges to understand. It literally took me only about 10 minutes to have the image show up on my phone through the App, which controls the camera directly (note that the App may have already been updated since the interface doesn't match up 100% with the instruction in the install guide, but no problem in navigating it.) After connecting with WIFI, we move the camera to the living room where we play with the baby during the day, and place it in the nursery when the baby goes to bed. We will get a 2nd one so we can have it in both rooms!It feels wonderful as I can see my baby on my phone wherever I go!

We bought this for the purpose of a "naughty cam" in the toddlers' bedroom. It's pretty awesome in that the children treat the camera as a diety to fear and obey. The day and night images are very clear. The pan and tilt features are great. We can do a digital zoom in/out by pinching on the smartphone screen. There are many, many settings and features to play around with. While you can continuously keep the app open, that's impractical through the night for us. We still use our regular Angelcare sound monitor as before, then when we hear noise in the night we just pull up the app on the smart phone to see what's going on and speak over the camera if necessary. You just open up the app and all the different cameras you own on your account pop up as thumbnails, so you just click the one you want to open.We plan to order 2 more cameras to put in another room where they nap and for regular security surveying the front door.However there are 2 disappointments for which I only give it 4 stars:1. This DOES NOT work with my Kindle Fire, as the app it uses ("MIPC") is only available on iTunes or Google Play, which the Kindle doesn't have access to. Once I got over that disappointment, we loaded it on our smartphones.2. The dozen infrared lights on the front of the camera shine red when infrared is active, and it scares the kids. It looks like a creepy large eye aimed right at them. We tell them "it's OK, it's just mommy and daddy watching you," which has turned out to be an acceptable answer.

So far so bad. I just received the unit and got it working. The Wifi is very sketchy / weak. It barely connects to the network from 30 ft when other devices easily connect at more than twice that distance. I bought the unit to watch pets in a room where I don't have an ethernet cable and wifi was the solution I needed. I will give it a few more attempts at holding a wifi signal.UPDATE: This device is essentially unusable even when directly plugged in on ethernet to eliminate wireless as an issue. Even once you can communicate with it, the interface for the software is so poorly written, possibly by someone who doesn't speak English, that you can't even determine if anything is happening. Example below: I have worked with hundreds of programmers and program myself and have never seen a dialog "Determine" for what should possible say "OK, Accept, Apply". This same dialog is even showing up for what should be an error message. My suggestion is find a product with a real manual, and in English, plus one that works. This unit is going to the scrap heap. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ENJOY PAIN.

I bought 2 of these cameras, so my sister and I could monitor our mom who has Alzheimer's. Other than having to have new cable run into the house for the Wi-Fi (unrelated to the cameras), the set up was easy and the cameras work great! There's a QR code to scan that pulls up the software app that you need to download and the bottom of each camera also has a QR code to scan and link the cameras under your profile. Just set up a username and password (I used the same for all) and then jotted it all down for my sister. I mounted the cameras up high (also easy as the mounts are adjustable and the camera screws on to attach) and now we can open the app on our phones any time and see that our mom is okay. You can easily scan the room side-to-side and the night vision works amazingly well. I can't say enough about the peace of mind that we now have as a result of these!

Getting the wi-fi option to work has been impossible. There is no "helpline" to be found either with the materials provided with the camera or online. It works with Ethernet connection, so if you're looking to run a cable from your box throughout your house it's great. I purchased this for the wi-fi function and when it didn't work after several weeks of trying, they refused to take it back as it had been "too long". Don't just walk away from this product and it's company, run.

I had trouble getting this product to work for me. Either I didn't understand the instructions or it's not made to do what I hoped it would do. I wanted a "nanny cam" for my dog, to see what she does while I'm away from home. I couldn't get any image to show and had no idea if the device was on or not or working or not.

Installation is easy. High resolution image and clear voice recording are appealing especially with this price. I really like the app for this product. I downloaded it from app store. I can easily snap shot or record videos just by one click. I have cats in my house. Now I can use this camera to check on them while I am not home. I would recommend this product to pet owners.

Great camera and picture quality. The app is questionable but works really well. Checked on my home during my vacation and the motion sensor works well.
