Works good no frills and easy to use
I got this for our outdoor fire pit. These work great for moving burning wood. They are strong and are holding up well in outdoor weather. They were delivered in timely manner and were a good value. They are shorter than I wanted that seems to be only down side.

Flimsy
The pinchers don't close. There is at least a 1" gap. It needed to be assembled with two screws and nuts come lose after using a couple times. Overall construction is flimsy at best. Don't waste your money.

Pretty good!
Work well and seem well made. The very end can pick up tiny embers to put back into my chiminea. I'm going to leave them outside in all kinds of weather. We'll see how they hold up.

These are the best Log Grabbers / Log Tongs that I've ever used.
The EZ Outdoors Log Grabber works great. Can't be beat for grabbing a burning log in a campfire and adding new wood to your fire. They are much more sturdy than the cheaper versions of this type of product. Buy these instead, you won't be sorry. I have nothing to do with the maker of this product and I wasn't compensated for this review.

It works well with very small logs, but anything ...
It works well with very small logs, but anything bigger than 1/6th of an typical round and it warps and bends at the joints. It lacks the support to move anything with weight.

... purchased this after seeing my sister had one just like it that she got on Amazon
I purchased this after seeing my sister had one just like it that she got on Amazon. She couldn't remember which one she got, so I figured I'd try this "EZ Outdoors Log Grabber - Great Addition to Your Fireplace Tools Set - High Quality Wood Fired Oven Tool Made of Tough Wrought Iron Guaranteed to Help You With Any Grill Camping or Fire Pit Management" by EZ Outdoors. It's for my boyfriends Chimea, so I didn't need anything too long or too strong. They shipped quickly & were very well packaged. He's very pleased with them & was rather enjoying playing with them in the house. His roommate was even able to pick up a glass of water with them (not so good at setting it down though!).It wasn't too expensive, is a good length, & a great design. I don't think it's strong enough to be picking up big logs, but since the Chimea isn't huge, we won't be putting anything too big in it. That's why I wasn't too worried about it.It's a great option for a smaller fire.

Too thin, flimsy and small to pickup logs.
Bought it for my firepit--not useable, it's too thin and short to get a good grip on even small logs.

Extended Arms for Campfires
This log grabber is great on camping trips. We use it to stoke fire or place a log into the campfire. Safety first, because the last thing you want to do is dress a burn and seek medical attention in the middle of nowhere. The tongs are pretty strong. They can hold one fire log at a time. They can be a bit difficult to maneuver as you do need to use both hands (it's like skiing for the first time), but you get used to it. I've even tried using these to turn potatoes cooking in the fire pit. Not as easy for smaller items, but it'll do when you forget grilling tongs. The tongs lay pretty flat against itself, so it's very portable. You can easily sneak it under a carseat or wedged between luggages. These extended arms go with us on every camping trip.
