Not much to say except that it does exactly what it was bought for

Item is perfect HOWEVER!!!!!! IT SAYS UNIVERSAL BUT THEIR ARE DIFFERENT SIZES! make sure you order right size otherwise it’s perfect

I used one of these to replace a broken one.Routing the cable IS CRITICAL!I would start from the hand lever end and work downwards, finally fitting the clip once the ends are secure.MAKE SURE THAT THE ACTIVATION END IS BEHIND THE MECHANISM AND NOT THROUGH IT!Fitting the ends is not a job for those with Fat Fums.Finally the plastic clip is a tight fit in the base structure.I used up my second cable just one year (six months of use) after fitting the replacement. At first I thought that the nipple had become de-soldered. Not so. the cable must undergo a lot of flexing near the hand lever despite passing over a quadrant.Unfortunately buying a length of inner Bowden Cable and soldering it yourself to the original nipples is, I think, not practicable.These may not be very durable, but what choice do you have?

Didn’t fit my DFS recliner unfortunately it was slightly too long

This worked really well. fairly easy to fit, although I did need to drill out the lever housing slightly to accept the new part.This is not a fault of the product, rather a feature of my particular sofa's fittings.A cheap, easy repair that has breathed new life into my sofa.

Fitted perfectly the suppliers off my year old couldn’t supply or even tell me where to look for a replacement part , the chair was two weeks out of warranty, so this part did the job fitted and works great .

Great replacement for broken cable on recliner, easy to install and very good price, would recommend.
