The fusion of elegance, rich shine and great flavour
I bought this elegant glass teapot together with brass coated stainless steel warmer. It's a perfect marriage between the two. Touches of gold color enrich the environment. The infuser perfectly releases the flavours of the South African Rooibos tea. I am very happy with purchase and it comes highly recommended.

Looks and works great
Awesome kettle, looks fabulous, the tea infuser goes all the way to the bottom (incase the pictures aren't clear). No dripping when you pour your tea, it stays warm much longer than expected, the only downside is you need a rag or piece of cloth to pour due to the heat, also if you brew more than once with the same batch of tea, the infuser lid is EXTREMELY hot so you'll need that cloth to take the lid off and pour more water in. Other than that its an amazing product. It looks great, pours great and functions great, I gave 5 stars because the only bad thing about it is it's quite hard to handle without a cloth, I have burned my hand a few times trying before I just decided to use a cloth. But thats usually how it works with larger kettles.. The holes in the infuser are tiny, and there is very little tea residue in the kettle when brewing.. its a great product and I use it almost everyday.

best teapot I've ever owned
I was a little scared to try out the function where you can boil your tea in this teapot right on the stove burner, but it totally worked. The metal bits come out so that you can wash them more easily, and can also fit into the top of a mug to hold the steeping part. My only complaints are that the spout is hard to clean - I bought a pipe-cleaner brush to access it. And, on my first week, I accidentally knocked the teapot against something and the handle cracked. I'm not sure if it was weak there, like a manufacturing defect, or if it was my fault. The teapot is still usable but I had to duct-tape the handle in place to prevent it breaking off entirely and potentially cracking the pot itself, as the crack was no superglue-accessible, so I can't dishwash it. But, I would still totally buy this again. Just, y'know, watch where you're walking with your teapot if you're a giant klutz like me.

Beautiful look and quality material, but not perfect in use
I'm writing the review mostly because Hiware states they donate 100% of the proceeds to a non-profit organization, Save the Children.I love the look of the teapot - clean and elegant. Also, I love that the materials used are eco- and health-friendly. It's glass and stainless steel. However, there are two reasons why I didn't give the product five stars. First is the spout that is hard to clean. I bought a straw cleaning brush, but because the spout is "wavy", it's still hard to clean. It's not a major issue, it just looks foggy. The other issue is because the whole lid is all metal, including the cute-looking ball, you need to be careful if you need to open it right after brewing, for example, to remove the leaves.

No complaints!--3 year update
I have been entirely happy with this teapot. The holes in the basket are tiny and keep all but the smallest particles out (I've used it for coarsely ground coffee as well) but the basket is also removable, which is great for blooming teas. Everything comes apart, so there aren't any places that I can't access to clean. The only improvement I would make is to change the ball on the lid to something that conducts heat less well, because the ball gets too hot to touch. I pour boiling or near-boiling water into the pot rather than heating it on the stove, so I can't speak to that aspect of it. Update: I have now had this teapot for almost three years, and it's still going strong. The only thing I would add is that there's a part of the spout that's a bit of a challenge to clean, but regardless, it's been a great purchase!
