Best pair of gardening gloves
I saw these on list of some of the best products for outdoors. They are perfect! The gloves are thick enough to protect hands from scratches and pokes, but you still have enough dexterity to handle tools and small items. They are comfortable and fit well. The sizing took me a minute to figure out when I was ordering. I bought a size 8 which is a medium.

Fir Tree Gloves - Great Fit, Great Value
In 1988 I started gardening and I quickly found out at that time that I needed a pair of quality gardening gloves to protect my hands. I preferred goatskin gloves to all the other types and my preference has remained that way throughout time.Smith and Hawken used to produce a fantastic goat skin glove which I purchased repeatedly as a Christmas present to myself every year until their company went out of business. Their Target brand does not offer the same item. I had stumbled across the Fir Tree brand of goatskin glove a couple of years ago while searching eBay for a new pair. The pair that I had purchased a couple of years ago now has a hole in the index finger - which is to be expected with my use of them. I am now replacing that pair with a new one. These gloves are a very good quality and they have a fantastic fit. I have a ladies size large also size 8 hand and the Fir tree size medium fits me great.I expect to get a couple of years of use from these before I need to replace them again. The goatskin is a slightly heavier weight than gloves generally marketed for women so they tend to last longer than one season of gardening. They are also considerably less expensive. My one tip is to use these in a dry garden. If you can’t resist pulling the weeds when it is raining the gloves will get wet and they will need to be worked back to their regular softness again.I highly recommend these.Edited to update: I needed to wash one of these gloves because it got some poison ivy oils on it and I kept getting recontaminated with a rash at the cuff. Here is a picture of how the glove looked after being washed with Eucalan wool wash.

Three Pair
My son bought me my first pair for a Christmas present. I had been wearing inexpensive gardening gloves that I could throw in the washing machine. They were of a man made material. The problem I ran into was my nails were pulling away from the nail bed. I live in the South, so my hands got very sweaty as I was doing my gardening for extended periods of time. Because the gloves I was wearing weren’t breathable, my hands stayed wet all the time. Eventually my nails were pulling away from the nail bed. Once I started to wear the goat skin gloves the problem cleared up. They are so soft and comfortable. It’s easy to do fine work with my fingertips, because they are supple. I wore them until there were holes in the fingertips. Then I bought two more pair. I highly recommend them. The size was the only problem I had. I wasn’t sure if I should buy a small or a medium. I ended up getting both sizes. They both fit, but I like the medium better. When my hands are sweaty they small is slightly difficult to put on and take off. I don’t think you will be sorry if you buy then. They never became stiff like my husbands outdoor gloves did.

Fit well, flexible and stay in place.
I really like these gloves. First time trying this brand. I am a woman who works outside and I have found these to fit really well. I love the flexibility of them. I have used them to process firewood and they are holding up well. They come up on my wrist a bit further than other gloves. So with this and the elastic on the wrist they stay in place really well. Definitely will buy more pairs.

Appears to be well made, stiching & pieces put together well. Will have to see how the gloves hold up.

Wore out too soon
Bought 2 pairs, wife’s wore out after one year and tossed out, customer service offered no help. Mine are about 2 years old now and wearing hole coming thru. They are soft and comfortable but don’t last very long. For the price paid we expected more ..

Amazing customer service and very high quality gloves A+
I had a couple problems in getting a fitting pair, one was sent with two separate sizes and the one I expected to fit initially was too small, but I absolutely love these gloves! They protect my hands very well & keep the dirt off too. They're really high quality. When purchasing, think about what size surgical gloves you might wear & go with what size fits without being super tight. I was also very very impressed by their customer service! They saw I had purchased 3 pairs total, and returned 2 of them and I was contacted directly to see what the problem was. That's so rare these days! They also come very nicely packaged in a gauzy linen like sleeper bag. I'll buy these again when I wear them out (or when someone else in my family steals mine!! :)
