Blocked my filters
I've used the recommendation amount for my 450litre tank it made the water very cloudy ok I thought that's normal and it went away after a few hours then I woke up the next day and my fish where swimming at the top of the tank there was a thin film covering the tank also my filters got blocked and I take good care of my tank with reqular weekly water changes and change my filter fibre every week be very careful this can kill your fish I've had to do a 90% water change and change my fibre in my filters again it was only been 2 days since I done the last water change I also have ariation in my tank and it's well flowing I was very surprised with this being a seachams product

Cannot recommend
Had a PH spike in my aquarium and used this to try to bring the PH down to 7. I've never been able to get the PH down to 7 no matter how much of this product I would you put in. Over the course of the week the best I could do was 7.7.The description says that it softens the water which was a plus as well.... Not really, I have 70-80ppm of hardness as I use RO water (from the tap I get 460ppm) and my tank was always stable with the hardness of the water. Once I used this product the hardness in my aquarium went to 200 ppm... Cannot recommend as it was a wast of money...

An essential necessity for your weekly water changes.
You need to 100% use this to keep the PH level at a perfect 7. Works every time. I don’t use ‘tap safe’ anymore, instead go for this and it makes your tap water safe for the fish. However I recommend mixing it in a bucket before pouring it into your tank. Because it will go misty for the first day and a few days later everything will turn white.

Impressive
I've been impressed with the stability of my pH since using this. It's brought my tap water down from around 8.5 to 7.0 and holds it there nicely. I pre-treat my water in buckets with this stuff before a water change to avoid bouncing the pH. What's really great, is that this treats the tap water too from Chlorine etc so no need to use TapSafe or anything like that - and as you don't need a lot of this (i have small tanks) it'll last a lot longer than the liquid conditioners too, so although this costs a little more, it will last longer and therefore much more cost effective. My Betta is much happy in his 7.0 water now :)

Didn't work for me
pH in my daughter's freshwater tropical aquarium is quite low (around 6.0). After persevering with this product for several weeks it has made absolutely no difference.
