They work!
I have had these for about 2 years now and they are great! They reconnect after a power outage and the geeni app is awesome. I have had no complaints that were not my own doing. :D I have one pointed in house and another out of a window and they both activate easily with movement. If pointing one outside, be sure to block off the reflection from the inside with some cardboard or what have you or it will pick up reflections. :) They are for outdoors but I use them indoors. :D

Great option for worry warts .........
I reside in a near wilderness area. Though there's never been a problem, I've always been concerned, worried, over security of my isolated home. No issues when I'm home, but groceries and hardware do have to be obtained necessitating brief trips to nearest town, leaving the home unattended. Have purchased three of these cams. AS LONG AS (this is critically important!) the installation of a camera is within range of an operating WIFI hub, these cameras work exceptionally well! Outstanding video in fact ... when compared to the blurry, useless black-and-white vid cams of the old days. Given the low costs, the resolution of these cams, is just amazing!! The IR night vision function also works very well. Will provide some numbers on that in the next day or so. The setup is somewhat difficult and 'tricky' (was for me anyway, at 80+) ... but even a very elderly person was able to network the cams successfully. One comment about setup, is that you MUST be very patient with the registration process for a camera. It can take several minutes for the hardware/software to do it's thing. Just sit back, relax and don't jump the gun thinking it isn't working. (As I was prone to doing.) Just give it time. Other available choices for this kind of service cost considerably more, and SO FAR, this hardware, the cameras, and the service, APPEAR to be of excellent quality. An aside: There's something almost 'other-worldly' about being as much as half-a-planet away, pulling up a phone app, and actually seeing your property at any hour of the night or day. Provides me with wonderful peace of mind ... without depending on distant and busy neighbors to keep watch on things.UPDATE:Now 2/24. After further experience with these cameras and the Geenie System .... I feel these cameras, their system, is about as perfect as can be reasonably had!!!! I now have six (with plans to add at least two more!!) of the cameras covering 80% of my property, including one inside my shop, roughly 75 yards from the house. It works properly and perfectly. The cameras connect to the internet via a major cell phone agency wireless 'brick' that works flawlessly. I can't say enough about the video resolution quality. The shop camera alerted recently, I quickly pulled up the camera feed, and saw nothing. Then, two small dots of bright light appeared in the image. They flicked off suddenly Continuing to watch .. turned out it was a mouse ... scurrying about, occasionally looking in the direction of the camera. His eyes were reflecting the IR light source causing the two bright spots in the image. And that is how sensitive and how well these cams and the Geenie system work. Note you have many controllable functions available, including a full range of audio too You may also add SD mem cards and RECORD imagery of all alerts. The recording resets and starts over once the card is filled ----- OR .... after a limited time period has elapsed. The IR source works very well. Though, as would be expected, the vision fades significantly after about 50 yards, but things are still recognizable even at that range. I plan on purchasing an IR floodlight source to ensure clearer coverage of my barnyard in the near future.Overall? Functionally? I would at this point, give a 10-star rating for the product if it was available! The only annoyance I've encountered is the fact that the system tallys the number of alerts, including false, or noise ones, and displays the number in a small circle over the app icon on the phone home screen. Have called cus.svc. and was told you cannot delete, or eliminate the count (it appears in a small red circle over the badge on the phone home screen). Guess they consider it important that you know how many times an insect, bird, or spider, ...OR a mouse .... has set off an alert. For me? Soi far? A near-ideal, very cost-effective solution for monitoring home and property from any place, near or far, on the planet that has cell phone service ... 24/7 !!!

Wonderful cameras
I am absolutely amazed at the quality of the pictures I get from these cameras. The best outdoor cameras I have ever used. I did notice on my front cameras that to get the best picture at night that I have the night vision on off. The pictures are nearly as clear as the daytime pictures. On my back porch camera it is pitch black back there. I do have a motion light and when it comes on with the camera the pictures are great. If the camera picks up motion and the light does not come on the picture is a bit dark.

Good for the price. Motion detection doesn’t detect a person.
Bought a 2 pack, one the camera was never attached inside and floated around. Opened it up and attached camera works fine.Speakers on camera are horrible and you can’t speak to someone through it.Video is good, hookup is easy, struggled a little to share the camera with other phones/accts. Night vision is decent. The motion detection even on low goes off to a tree moving, grass or traffic. It’s been hard to position in such a way to not have it repeatedly go off.The cost for what you get is good. Camera is good, price is good, speaker function sucks, microphone rocks (you can hear stuff outside well), hook up is easy, night vision is decent. SD card has run for 2 weeks and has to be formatted again. The 2nd has been going for 3 weeks pretty strong, no glitches.

Excellent quality
We have been using these camera's for a couple of years, and we decided to add 2 more to our home. Excellent instructions and quality products.

Absolutely love these cameras
I have 12 of these cameras. The app can be a little wonky sometimes and the cameras randomly reboot from time to time, but overall...100% recommend.Good quality picture during the daytime. Nigh vision picture quality, isn't the best. A lot of the times you will see afterimages. Had a neighbor get their quads stolen. Couldn't make out the face of the thieves because of the afterimages, but the camera did manage to catch the license plate.I would like to see editability functions added to the website used to stream your cameras on your computer later down the road.Overall, 5/5 stars, I recommend it to everyone. Good value, just don't buy it if you depended on high quality resolution during the night.

Stop wasting your money with monthly fees and service that partially work..
Very practical, reliable and easy to install.. I originally had another company and was paying a monthly fee for product and services (company “V”).. I bought these and they actually plugged right into the other company’s power source so I did not have to run new wires.. screwed them into the existing mounting holes and was done… super simple! All the same features but for less money.. def worth the money!

Failed power supply
For the price these are good cameras but the second day one camera would drop connection then it stopped working .I decided to check the power supply it was bad I had one laying so instead of taking the cameras down and returning this solved the problem.1 year review I have replaced both power supplies one camera drops connection several times an hour(it has a 68% signal from the router so its not the router)the other one drops signal 4-6 times a day. Sometimes you have to unplug and plug in after 30 seconds before the camera will work with the app this is not good if your away from home. I now have a nighthawk wired system no more dropped connection.
