Lava Cooking Stone for Pizza, Meats, Seafood and Vegetables -Large 14"

This is perfect for my kamado grill. Excellent as a heat diffuser and great to cook on.Be sure to treat/season the lava stone before first use. Rub olive oil on both sides and heat the grill up to about 300.

Smoked a brisket and some ribs and the result was perfection . Brisket was tender, juicy with a beautiful smoke ring and the ribs were delicious! The stone clean up was easy, just turn the stone over and burn the drippings off and it’s ready for the next time! LOVE IT !!!!!

I had my first lava stone for several years, but knocked it off a table. This replacement is significantly lower quality and too porous to hold heat to sear anything on.My first stone was a 5, this one is closer to a 2; so ranking a 3. I'll be sure to buy in person when they are back in stock locally so I can inspect the density when it's time to buy a new one.

Make sure you get the right size! Haha. I got the small one on accident and they were great at sending me the label to ship it back for a full refund so I can get the right size. Have used it twice now and it works great.
