Not all connections exist in cable.
The cable quality seems decent. The wires were a little hard to strip without breaking, but that is kind of expected with this small of wire. The biggest issue I found was they are not full connection wires. For the 3.5mm jack only the ring and the shield are wired. For the 2.5mm jack only the tip and the shield are mapped. I was attempting to make DigiRig cables for a Baofeng. The wiring is OK for an audio cable, but I need the 2.5mm ring wire for a programming cable. The mapping I figured out was:2.5mm T=Green, R=None, S=White3.5mm T=None, R=Red, S=Black

Not top quality, but worked perfectly for restoring my old speaker mics
I had some very old speaker mics for Kenwood HT's that had cables that disintegrated over time. They are now both back in action with these cables. No issues so far!

Poorly stripped and tined ends
At first glance, the cables look good quality. Overall it's a little stiff. The pigtails come stripped and tined, both of which are of poor quality. I am going to have to cut 2" off and start over. I am using these to build some adapters.

Too short for a mic!
Too damn sort to replace a mic cable. Might only be useful for interfacing with a repeater, etc

This cable is not shielded
I ordered this to make a allstar node so I would not have to remove internal speaker and mic. However I was surprised that the wires are not shielded. So beware these wires are not shielded like most mic cords.

Repeater
It is a quick and cheap way to connect two UV5R's for a repeater.
