DryTunes The Play-Anywhere/Store Anything, Completely Waterproof Wireless Speaker

I am only giving 3 stars because I want Drytunes to improve this - it has great potential. The midrange and high end, and volume are great for the speakers that are there. However there is a noticeable lack of bass. Could it be that they decided to concentrate on the midrange and high end but not the base due to absorption of low frequencies in water - that listeners wouldn't not the difference if the unit was in the water? For me this eliminates any possibility of playing club music or hip hop out of the water. I have purchased several Braven speakers and can comfortably fit two of them inside this case. But they are muffled because this unit does a great job of transmitting sound thru the case - but muffles the sound f any other speakers placed inside. So I am hoping for 2 options: offer users to purchase a second speaker (same as the first) which can be clicked into the opposite wall (the speakers are light, and 2 sets won't sink the ship), and add bass to the next upgrade. adding the seconds speaker and bass would make the unit comparable to 2 Bravens linked (which is the most awesome sounding portable setup on the planet). Yes I would pay double even if adding more bass and a second set of speakers required the case t be a bit larger in order to accommodate the woofers and still allow the case to float.

My drytunes does not work any more. I ordered new batteries thinking that would help but the pairing stopped working. No bluetooth signal emitted at all. Worthless without it. Unfortunately, the company must be out of business because they no longer take phone calls and do not answer emails. Too bad they are so worthless in administration of this company. The system has potential......

Love my Drytunes!! Has an amazing sound that you can enjoy at the lake/river/beach. Battery last for hours, can keep my phone/keys/wallet safe inside and if it starts over heating unlike other wireless Bluetooth speakers you can actually just dip the Drytunes in the water you're in to drop the temperature. I love this product! I've towed it down a river, floated it in a lake, thrown it in a pool, and its absolutely dry on the inside each time. At the beach EVERYONE wants to throw their keys, wallets, phones, etc in the DryTunes case because they know its safe. Best of all, it rocks-WELL! Great sound and I've not run out of battery yet. Get one, and thank me later. You'll love it. BTW, I bought the yellow model.

The BEST! So great. For anyone, any event, outdoors, on boats, kayaks, SUPs, beaches, poolside, foul weather, great weather, workshop, anywhere that you normally wouldn't think to bring your electronics. Connect to any bluetooth source. Then put that source inside the case, and control it via a very smart magnetic stylus from the outside of the case, without having to open it up. Volume, skip tracks, FF, RW etc. Just so well thought out. Case is so rugged and 100% weatherproof and waterproof (when closed of course). Sound is super crisp, great dynamic range, great bass. Excellent battery life, all day no prob.Any time we pull this out at parties, get togethers, kids sporting events or whatever, we always get a ton of "whoa, whoa, whoa,... what is this and where do I get one??" Perfect gift to the guy who's got it all. Hubby, BF, Grandma, gramps. Great for gardening etc. Podcasts. Just saying, I've given this as a gift in all I've described above and it's always a slam dunk.Love mine. Have 2.

I would have never thought that such an awesome sound could come out of something as small and as functional as my Drytunes. I got the green one to use as a game call, to toss in the pool, and to bring to the beach. This thing has never let me down. Would highly recommend to ANYONE!!! Geaux Tigers!!

This thing is built to last. It is water proof, not "water resistant" like the cheap knock offs, which means it can actually be fully submerged in water and that is exactly what I've used it for.It's been great in the pool and at the beach. I can use it as a secure place for my wallet, sunglasses and car keys and keep them right with me in the water. The rechargeable battery lasts the for hours of music.And this is real reason I decided to purchase the drytunes, the music. Music sounds great. The sound is equally as good when I connect my iphone to the internal headphone jack or the onboard Bluetooth. Bluetooth connection flawless and immediate. I stream iTunes and pandora and can easily navigate by the phone or the external control system which means you can search for your favorite songs while your phone is stored safely inside and not have to open the water tight case.If you are looking for durable portable music player, the drytunes is legit. While the price tag may turn some off, you really get what you pay for. In this case, I am confident that I have a device that will last. I also think it's cool that drytunes is made in the USA.
