Bought this thinking it could help discolored nails even the description says that and when searched for nail whitener this was 1st item to pop up , it isn't a nail whitener/ brightener....its a nail strengthner which maybe has helped in that area but as for brightening them there's no change whatsoever...for price paid its not worth it Sally Hansen has better strengtheners for more affordable price. Sadly cant send back

Very pretty finish and it has a nice subtle shine that makes your nails look very healthy. The optical purple brightener really makes the nails looks healthy in comparison to if you just put a clear top coat over your nails. A clear top coat always is way to shiny, but this optical brightener base used as a top coat is more natural and pretty looking.The subtle shine lasts over a week long so they look freshly manicured for at least 10 days with no chipping and makes my nails grow so fast!! It can dry a touch tacky so sometimes I put OPI Natural Base over it (yes Base, as a top coat!). The OPI base is also a satin finish so it just makes it that much better overtop the React Max. A+ will definitely buy Optical Brightener again for those natural nail days.

This is the only formaldehyde-free nail growth/protector I have ever found that really works. My nails are strong and are growing like weeds.
