I bought these for ballroom dancing. They are really attractive, but the first thing I noticed after putting them on is that the heel is not very sturdy. I've been using them for now until I invest in a real pair, but you get what you pay for. Overall, I recommend them if you need something quick and cheap, but I don't see these lasting long term.

The shoes fit as expected (use the measuring guide in the description as dance shoes can have a different fit than street shoes). I am normally a size 6 1/2 in street shoes and ordered a size 7 for these dance shoes. The length was perfect. The front straps were slightly bigger that my foot (I have narrow feet) but it doesn’t take away from the sturdiness of the shoe at all! I can always add a cushion for the ball of my foot and it would make it perfectly snug if needed (but I will probably not since I do not like the straps too tight anyway). Great price and I am absolutely going to recommend to the other women in our couples dance class!

UPDATE:I was able to get the right size, but unfortunately I had another issue. After only dancing in the shoes for one hour, the heel cap came off of one of the shoes. It must have been on the dance floor, I didn't notice until I changed my shoes and saw it was gone. I wasn't able to find it to stick it back on and without it, the shoe is useless. I hope I can either get a replacement from the seller or worst case find a random replacement. So annoying, the shoe was great otherwise.ORIGINAL: There is something very off about their sizing. At first I thought they sent me the wrong size because the bag said 8 (which is what I ordered) but the sticker on the shoe said 40, which in most cases translates to a US size 9-9.5. I based my size on the actual CM measurement of my foot, but their chart says an 8 should have fit however it was a full inch too long on my foot. I guess I'll go down a whole size and see if that fits.Other than that, the shoe seems nice. I hope I can get the right size

I purchased these shoes to wear for a NYE 20s themed party. The style went well with my flapper dress, but best of all I was able to comfortably wear them and dance extensively for over 6 hours. I cannot usually wear heels, but the design of the shoe made it possible!

My husband and I love to go Latin dancing. My days of sky high heels are past, but the height of the heel on these shoes is high enough to be stylish while still being super comfortable. Dancing in them, I didn’t feel like I was sliding all over the shoe and the heel was much more stable than my taller heels. Based on other reviews I bought 1/2 size smaller than my normal size (8.5 instead of my usual 9) I was nervous about that but it worked, they fit perfectly. I only took off 1 star because the strap is hard to fasten and unfasten, though imagine I’ll get used to it. Buy these shoes! You’ll be happy you did!

Recently I was in an amateur dance performance, where we all wore 1920's fringey glittery dresses; and I purposely got these shoes for the dance lessons as well as the performance. Apparently dance shoes are supposed to be very snug. In normal shoes, I wear an 8.5 so I got these in an 8 (which made them perfect). The satin straps stretched a little bit but not crazy so they were still performance ready after a few weeks of lessons 1-2x/week. They have suede soles and easy release buckles (with an extra buckle just in case). It was way better dancing in dance shoes than regular heels (like at weddings and stuff) and I didn't feel any worry that they would cause a problem, allowing me to actually concentrate on the performance!

These are my first Latin dance shoes. I’ve grown up dancing salsa, merengue, bachata, mambo and samba. I’ve danced with many types of shoes (heels, flats, sneakers) and no shoes. I have so much more range of motion and control wearing these. I look more elegant and they are sturdy. I really like the quick release buckle, it’s so convenient. Great quality for the price! Follow the size chart for size accuracy (take your measurement as recommended). I’m usually a size 6.5-7 in shoes. I purchased these in size 6 and they fit perfectly.

I have worn these for a month now. I am a size 7, sometimes a 7.5I ordered a size 7 as they give in a bit. They are very soft and comfortable. The closing system however is horrendous. Closing the buckle is easy but taking it off takes several attempts, I always have to ask for help to remove my right shoe, which is ridiculous. It the buckle/clasps were better designed, I would give it 5 stars.

The description says to take a size bigger the street wear shoes: NO!! Way to big!! I’ve try to communicate with the company who NEVER answer! Very desapointed.
