really good materials and craftsmanship (vg10
Really strong knife. Is sharp as hell, really good materials and craftsmanship (vg10, Elmax, etc). I like it a lot for edc all around, and is perfect for self defense too.I used and abused this knife with no issues at all. I do't know why some people write some kind of reviews, you can like it or not, but who is going to believe that an ELMAX edge is going to roll cutting a few cardboard boxes?.

It sucks. The knife is sharp
The thumb studs are duel so it catches on the pocket when pulling it out. The lock sticks at lest one out of three times of deployment. It sucks. The knife is sharp. However, I have cut nothing but cardboard and I noticed a few small chips in the blade after a month of use...plenty of other cheaper knives out there with way better quality! Fail. I should have sent it back. Do not buy.

Just a Great All Around edc imho
Typically not a fan of tanto pointed knives, but this is the exception. Flat ground, ELMAX steel, assisted opening that works every time and a hell for stout lock up. I've a drop point model on order as well as another tanto point. I like the build quality that much. The only negative imho is the clip. It just hangs to far down on the scale. I will modify that at some point to make it a bit more user friendly for carrying in the pocket. Also I put some heavy shrink tube around the thumb stud. Just makes it a tad more comfortable on the thumb. Mine is the single style thumb stud and no real complaints on it though just did it for me. Mine has a very strong kick too for the opening assist. The other thing I like is the handle design. For me it is superb. I have extra large hands and the shape of the grip works great for me. Some folks may not like the aggresive G10 but that is easily remedied with some very light sanding if you so wish. Now do I think this is a $300 knife? No way but for what I paid off ebay I bought 3 of them for less than what they were originally selling for. ELMAX is a premium steel but very hard to sharpen but can be done. It takes a helluva edge that lasts and even when not shaving sharp is still sharp enough. I have replaced my Sebbie 21 with this style of knife for edc and don't regret it one bit and I am not afraid to use it for just about anything that needs cutting during the day and don't shy away from doing so like sometimes I did with my Sebbie. So that's it. I am not a warrior or any sort of that thing but I do like the outdoors and fishing in particular and around the water Elmax can't be beat imho. thanks
