I believe they do the job as stated. Can it be verified? Well, I have not seen any of the pests I have it in for since this is plugged into a detached garage where a forest is across the street. My only complaint, why an oval shape? For someone who has a side by side outlet of non-normal configuration because previous owner in the 90s thought this funky outlet would be better or something, you cannot use the 2nd outlet when this is plugged in. Oh well, I digress.

It worked!
I was surprised that this worked--but it did. It isn't designed to kill the bugs, just keep them away. I bought these after I found a stink bug in my bedroom pillowcase and since I can't seem to stop the infernal creatures from coming in, at least I wanted them to stay away from my bed. I plugged it in and they stayed at least 4 feet away! Unfortunately, I have guinea pigs so I couldn't use them in that room, it really does irritate them. I haven't seen any evidence of mice lately either. Not sure if these are why, but I'll take what I get. Give 'em a try! Inexpensive too.

so far its ok?!?
Been plugged up for a week or 2 (cant remember ) so far i still keep seeing bugs but it does say to wait a few weeks before you can actually tell if it's working.I bought something similar from Menards and it worked verywell within a week. Ill keep you updated in a few weeks!!!
